taz24
. A big thank you to the lads at the Reindeer clay site near Wakefield. This is the second time I’ve been there and they all made me and my mate very welcome. There was a good banter between everyone concerned and like the last time the safety at the site was excellent. The shooting was done from 5 stands and everyone was split into 2 groups so nobody was stood around too long waiting for their turn to shoot. It was very misty - foggy earlier on and it was hard to see the other side of the quarry, so we all thought it was going to be fun when the clays started to fly. Fortunately most of the mist – fog was gone by 10 am and when we started the weather was ideal. The last time I was there was last March and I jokingly asked for them to turn the heating on for me for the next time I arrived because it was bitter cold and they must of listened to me because it was lovely and warm, tee-shirt weather this morning. So a big thankyou to all at the Reindeer and I look forward to my next visit. taz .
