Oh Dear...

Hi all,

Been away for a while, come back, logged in and I find that the bickering so often associated with forums has started, people are being banned and so on.

Whats going on ?

I couldn't find anything wrong with any of Jess's posts, admittedly very light on shooting content, but harmless none the less.

Whats the beef with Aled ? seemed ok to me, kept things lighthearted and so on.

At least they both supported shooting, that can't be bad can it?

If they were getting on someones nerves, why not just ask them to get back into line with a warning?

Why ban someones' avatar? seems very childish to me and very 'pc', that really sucks the fun out of a previously good site.

If someone posts in the wrong board, just move the post and warn them, don't ban them. If a thread's going off topic, close it. Boasting of illegal behaviour is obviously serious and the person concerned should expect a ban. All advice taken from the internet needs to be taken with caution as to it's accuracy, as you rarely know the person on the other end, as long as it's not maliciously wrong then theres no harm done.

Controlling a site with a rod of iron puts people off of joining or supporting it as it seems so unfriendly.

Unlesss i've missed something, things seem to be going downhill. I see other members have gone as well. Be very carefull, a forum with no members is very dull !

I'm with Jess, Aled and "that Avatar" on this one so i won't be posting or reading much from now on, life is too serious to follow a totally serious forum, lighten up a bit.

I wish you all the best and hope the changes work out in your favour, but as i mentioned, be careful !

Dave
