a2oth
hi guys, To save me surfing the net, can anyone tell me when Beretta stopped making the plain 682 E or EX? I can find loads of info on the Gold E, (I even have one), but even Beretta don’t seem to have an option to look it up on their website. Many thanks. Hardwoods Green
I am struggling to know exactly which model you are talking about. To give you a rough idea the story goes a bit like this Beretta 682 Silver and black action versions, they did a multichoked Sporter with a stepped rib and also the X trap (black action that was available in 30 and 32" in fixed and multichoked versions, some with monte-carlo stocks. These were built from approx 1984-1991 or 2 After that was the 682 Gold (Greystone action with Beretta in gold on it) some had matt barrels, there was a trap and a Gold X trap avialble, these finished in about 1998-1999 when the Gold E came out. You can still buy the Gold E X trap which has a stepped rib, monte carlo adjusbale stock and is multichoke (Optima), available in 30 and 32" these are about £2200 new. Hope this helps
