Micky Spillane
Hello folks I'm somewhat new to the shotgun scene and having received my ticket went out and bought a 12 bore, o/u 3" magnum multi choke gun made by Laurona of Eibar. The Gun is brand new not fired a shot as far as one can tell. I have a three year guarantee from the shop, a reputable dealer, Morgans of Oswestry. The gun was sold to me reduced as "shop soiled" I could see no marks but the sales chappie said he thought it was because it had no box etc. They managed to get some chokes for it 1/4, 1/2, full and skeet, also a choke wrench which was all to the good. My problem is that with the absence of the box there is also the absence of any sort of manual, now I know many of you are veterans of long standing and would never bother with one but as a novice I'd like to know all there is to know about my first shotgun. it is serial number 281868 the breech end of the tubes is stamped 1380 gmosL2 but I've no idea what that means. Your help in any form will be gratefully appreciated, thanks for taking the time to wade through this missive Mick Edited December 19, 2008 by Micky Spillane

Windknot
1380, 1390 could be the weight of the barrels? A quick check on the kitchen scales would confirm this. The weight may or may not include the choke tubes.
