rlewis
I have got a lanber sporting deluxe and have got confused with which choke to but in. My uncle says to put half and quater in. But im not sure what that this means when it only has little lines on the front of the chokes :S i think i need to have 2 lines for half and 3 for quater. Please tell me if this is right.I usally go on sporting, skeet, dtl and pool are the chokes i have chose, good enough for the job i have only been shooting for 1 year so not sure what to do. Oh and another question which chokes should i put in (ie quarter for top ball or for bottom?)
hairyduck
No lines is True cylinder 4 lines is 1/4 (Improved cylinder) 3 lines is 1/2 (Modified) 2 lines is 3/4 (improved modified) 1 line is Full choke For sporting they're usually fitted with the 1/4 in the bottom barrel and the 1/2 in the top. Skeet you normally have more open choked (1/4 or skeet in both barrels) DTL usually has more closed chokes 3/4 and full There isn't an all round fitment that will suit all disciplines Edited March 7, 2009 by hairyduck
