riffler
It means the power is adjustable by the owner, rather than the manufacturer or a gunsmith. Some manufacturers swapped to anti-tamper a while back, because some owners were upping the power to beyond the legal limit. You could wind this one up to nearer 12 ft lbs if you like but don't do it without using a chronograph and you must also test it with heavier pellets than your usual ones to ensure its within the law. Otherwise it will be running at FAC levels = confiscation/nicked. Adding power won't make it any more accurate or lethal. Neither my shooting buddy or I have adjusted this one as its not been necessary. You can group 5 shots on a 5p piece at 35yds. It's taken bunnies cleanly out to 45 yards. The ret on the scope is fine and very precise Fantastic zoom range, great for pigeon shooting. If you're interested come and have a shoot, or we can meet somewhere halfway/convenient if you're serious about buying. Whole outfit is immaculate. Both my mate and myself look after our kit. Have just bought a multishot Ultra, so I need to sell this lot. Cheers Steve
