fuzrat
Hi Dave, A skeleton stock like you may have seen on the krieghoffs wont help with an eye dominance issue. They are designed to be millimeter adjustable for things like comb height and length of pull to put the head in the correct position for a righteye/right shoulder shooter and vice versa. they also have have the option of a recoil damper on them. My first question would be who told you you have eye dominance issues? The reason I ask is its all to easy to blame a wrong master eye when it may be like in my missus case she has to wear glasses for reading and her eyes are both different strengths at different distances, so on closer shots her right eye trys to take over (she is a lefty btw) and for longer shots her left eye stays on track. she now has a spot of tape on her right lense and it works for her. You say you have tried closing one eye, tape and shooting off the other shoulder, how long for? it takes time for effect of any change to fully show. (It has taken Her about a month so far to get used to having her glasses taped.) There aint no quick fixes in this game, I wish there were. Have you had any lessons or gunfitting sessions at all? If not I would suggest you spend your money on a quality coach and get a proper assessment before you spend a fortune on a skeleton stock. I have heard some good things about Ian Coley in Cheltenham, He coached Richard Faulds for the 2000 olympics so cant be bad Hope some of that helps Fuzrat
BigG
Dave, Just wanted to Echo some fantastic advice above. I think gun fit is a huge question can the right eye see over the rib? The other point is do you need to get your eyes tested? It is incredible but some people have distance eye as the left and the close up reading eye as the right. Make things very interesting, if not properly diagnosed. If you need more on Precision fit stocks let me know, but has Fuzrat has said hold off spending £1000 yet! All the best G
