sv-mark
I have just got my first shotgun a beretta al391 urika 2 in black synthetic. I have striped it down and got all the grease off it and put a light smear of oil on the parts that need it (this took me a few hours :( ) but I seem to remember seeing a link a few months ago showing detailed guides of how to do various task on the gun but cant find it now. can anybody help? also in the plastic case there is a metal rod about 8-10 inchs long at the front on the right, what is this used for (sorry if it is a stupid question). and the chokes I have only ever heard of half, quarter ,full etc but the chokes have all different names can anybody explain which is which please. Thanks Mark

edr
The metal rod is for knocking the TMH pin out, my advice is to always use the metal rod, my friends gunsmith knocked it out with a screwdriver; he now has a black gun with a bright silver dot. Great guns though, i would recommend stripping the piston regurarly, it used to take me about about an hour to do a full clean/strip down, once you get used to it about 20 minutes.
