winchester energy
Gun ownership is ingrained in American lifestyle....I am normally very pro-american as I have spent a fair bit of time in the USA and only come across guns when I have gone out of my way to get involved with them. I would guess that Lee in VA could enlighten more than most on the details of gun culture within the States. My first guns fired were in the Califonia desert back in`79 and at the end of my stay I was informed I had been sitting on a "saturday night special" under the seat of the Dodge Polara I used to drive around L.A. for 2 weeks!!!! I think as a nation with the head of population and close proximity of how we live on top of each other we would have an appauling record if Guns were easy to own as in the States. Imagine every pub fight ending up with a gun being fired. That old used phrase / saying comes into play..."guns dont kill people, ignorance kills people" I say leave things as they are but make a bigger effort to get illegal guns off the street.
