smiiithy
Hi all, I've got a BSA Tactical XL .22. I'm considering the V-Mach tuning kit. Has anybody fitted one of these to a BSA Superstar, Supersport, Lightning, Lightning XL or Tactical XL? How easy are these to fit? Available from BAR V-Mach also offer tuning and fitting for £125 + return P&P They also added they do use the kit as the basis for the tuning in the workshop, but also carry out additional work to enhance the rifle overall. john2
V Mach are great kits as long as your rifle is accurate, well worth the money. I have had three kits also Steve Pope fitted two kits and they were the best HW97 and BSA Sturzen If you can afford it let him do the job John

smiiithy
It was Steve who sent me the quotations. Definately wouldn't consider fitting it myself as the Tactical is a fiddly rifle just to take apart. From what I've read he's highly recommended, I think I'll go for it. smiiithy
Placed deposit to have Steve tune the Tactical. He says I'm looking at about a 3 month turn around before sending the rifle off and then up to a further 2 weeks to get it back tuned. Anybody got an empty rifle box they don't need? Cheers, Mike
