Pinkfooty
Driven Day for Young Shots In conjunction with BASC, the East of Scotland Association for Wildfowling & Conservation (ESAWC) is providing a mini-driven day especially for Young Shots (under-18) at Braco Castle, Perthshire on Saturday 24th October 2009. Five places will be available for Junior Members of ESAWC and for the sons and daughters of club members. The other five places will be allocated by BASC Scotland. This 50-bird day will give youngsters an ideal introduction to driven game shooting with expert instruction and supervision. ESAWC will provide beaters and pickers-up on the day. Applicants must be BASC members and hold a Shotgun Certificate. Game Licences can be arranged by BASC Scottish Office. The cost is free for ESAWC Junior members and sons/daughters of members; £20 for other BASC Young Shots. Jimbo57
That's amazing value Eric. Wish I was young again! But seriously, great to see clubs doing something to encourage youngsters. Jim
Pinkfooty
The day went really well. The 8 youngsters had a bag of 27 pheasants, 3 partridges, 38 ducks and 1 woodpigeon. There is a photo of the lucky lads here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/esawc
