J@mes
Landrover Discovery 300TDi 1996 N plate 3 door Metallic Green Ranger Alloys 110500 miles 4 months tax 6 months MOT Grey cloth interior Accessories: Dog Guard Side Steps Front wrap around bar Rubber boot mat Solid boot liner Genuine adjustable tow hitch with twin electrics New parts in my ownership: Steering box Drivers window regulator Ignition barrel Rear exhaust box Faults: Obviously, a fair bit of corrosion on the body and boot floor – normal, unfortunately. Lacquer peel on the bonnet caused by bird muck! Interior is slightly shabby, its been used for shooting and general knocking about in/ camping – no rips, but the odd stain and fag burn Power steering honks, and always has done since I changed the steering box – probably wants bleeding properly! Leaks from various places – nothing major and its always kept topped up. If a landrover doesn't leak, its out of oil! Knock from the drivetrain, in line with age compared to others I have driven. Just had the engine oil and filter changed and all the drivetrain fluids, has been perfectly reliable to me! £1000 or near offer! J@mes
Yeh it is a ******, worth a try though as despite its higher insurance group it won't fall in to the normal "young mans going to get crashed" kind of vehicle!
