Marki
I've bought myself a second hand MK2 Hills Pump. When I try to charge my gun I can get up to around 250 psi before it starts to take more effort to lift the pump up than it does to push it down. It feels as if there is some sort of vacuum pulling the pump downwards. Is this normal? I don't believe it is but I've never used one before. For info, I'm fit enough to lift 100kg boxes regularly so I don't think its me being a wimp.
moorvale55
After the "down stroke" you need to wait a few seconds before trying the up stroke, also there should be a small, normally brass coloured, screw at the base of the pump, this needs to be closed when pumping and open when the air line is released from the rifle. Hope this helps, ATB.
Marki
Cheers. I've stripped it down and the piston is broke. Just waiting for a reply from Hill Pumps.
