Steyr-Mannlicher SL .222

Recommended Posts

Full stocked with free-floating 20" barrel.

To my mind, these rifles are of far better design than the modern SBS 96 actioned rifles- the bolt handle of these doesn't jump up with a clunk when you push the safety off!

The blueing is very good. It has a rotary 5 round magazine and a creep-free single set trigger (not the double set trigger found on most older Mannlichers). Pillar bedded at the factory into a pleasant oil finished walnut stock.

The rifling is very good and the throat still very sharp.

Handles beautifully. Includes 1" Apel 'swing off' mounts for easy scope removal and re-fitting should you feel the need to use the open sights. The mounts alone would now cost over £300.

£450 O.N.O.

Sorry, I don't have a clue about digital photography and currently only have a slow wireless internet connection, so there's no point me learning. I will send pics to GENUINELY interested parties via my mobile.

I promise that it looks just like a Mannlicher SL in the condition I have described!
