  2. There are a lot of Chinese models on evil bay I have a cubot a Samsung ripoff but with dual sim both sims work together and both signal strengths show on the display. I'm happy with mine but there are a lot of baduns on the bay too.

  3. I had a v50 as a company car it was a great car to drive done 120000 and very comfy but that's all I can say about it. I think I just got a bad one unfortunately they exist in every make and model. The main things that went wrong where 1) central locking fob never worked more than a couple of months (went in numerous times for this) 2)air con never ever worked 3) fuel tank dropped off while driving. If you see one with DG11 HHM stay away

  4. I'm a bit ambivalent about this. No you dont run people down with horses but the law has never been an issue for Saboteurs. It is private land and they are trespassing, argueably its more than simple trespass.

I think the guy on the horse was trying to make a statement, expecting the people to get out of his way. I dont think there's any intention to injure just frighten. Bad miscalculation and not wise since a horse is rather like a small car at speed. Hope she recovers and stops placing herself and other people in danger whilst breaking the laws of the land !!

I am inclined to summarise it by saying - you play with fire ..........

I completely agree when will it become an issue that these people are trespassing on private land. I now that the country side is hard to police but if more of these people where prosecuted for trespass and disturbing the peace there would be less of it going on.

  5. Pro logic cannot even make a waterproof coat I'd stay clear there are other neoprene options for less money , bison waders £50 e.c.t.

I cant comment on the pro logic waders but my pro logic coat has been very good on it's second season. I have Daiwa neoprene chest waders but unless it get really cold quick i will be changing them. I am getting out of them just as wet from sweating as i would be if i didn't have them on. Ocean chest waders are meant to be good.

  6. Don't now about the 28 boar but I gave a 12boar and that is not cartridge fussy at all everything I have put in it it has cycled. The only problem I have had is the stock coming loose when I spent a week in Orkney shooting big 3" loads a very good gun.

  7. Ok, so after many years with Vodaphone, I changed to O2. New 18month contract. Two months in, they tell me its going up due to inflation etc. Bit cheeky I thought as the contract was at that point live. Just renewed the contract and again, one month in, they have told me its going up due to inflation, bla bla. We aren't talking life changing sums of money, its 2.7%. However, multiply that by 28 million users on all sorts of usage and its a gob smacking sum of money, had by charging people once signed into a contract! I think its a touch cheeky

Ofcom have apparently looked into this and take a bit of a dim view of this kind of behaviour. Anyway, its a horrible afternoon so I thought I would have some fun with O2. Chat, don't you just love it  I am a little worried about Chris and his technical problem :lol:

    marc: at 15:03:28 Hi Chris,

    Chris: at 15:03:46 Hello Marc.

Chris: at 15:03:51 How are you?

marc: at 15:05:15 I recently renewed my contract with a tariff charge of £11 per month. I have just received an email saying its being put up to £11.29, due to inflation! Is this actually allowed under the terms of the contract?

Chris: at 15:06:44 I do understand your concern and I know that rise in price are never welcome.

Chris: at 15:07:01 Just wanted to share that we're investing so much of our money in enhancing our network, and other products and services

Chris: at 15:07:40 But, due to the inflation rate going up the prices of everything is rising.

Chris: at 15:08:11 Therefore, to get in line with inflation, we're increasing the price by 2.7%

Chris: at 15:08:11 Ofcom updated its fixed means fixed guidance (originally released in October 2013) on 22 January 2014 to clarify that contract terms for mobile contracts where agreed core subscription prices

    Chris: at 15:09:06 http://www.o2.co.uk/desktop/prices

marc: at 15:13:35 Obviously its not a life changing sum of money!! However, I moved to o2 after many years of loyal custom to Vodaphone. Within a couple of weeks of moving across and taking out a contract with o2, I had the same advisory, that the tariff was going up. Now its happened for the second time in two contract terms. I am not overly impressed that o2 can offer a contract at a given tariff and change it at will during the life of the contract. You might forward my thoughts to a higher authority. It will be a consideration for moving to another provider.

Chris: at 15:16:23 I can understand that.

Chris: at 15:17:21 But the rise is for every customer.

marc: at 15:25:10 It may well be, however I am not sure of the ethics of entering into a contract with a customer and changing the terms once active. I would also question again the legality. 28 million users at 2.7% is a serious amount of money!

Chris: at 15:28:50 The proposal was introduced by the ofcom to meet the service standards to provide the better services to our customer.

Chris: at 15:33:41 You can check the terms here.

    Chris: at 15:33:52 http://www.o2.co.uk/termsandconditions/mobile/previous-pay-monthly-mobile-agreement-(aug2013-jan2014)

marc: at 15:41:20 I have read the guidelines by Ofcom and it confirms my thoughts. "Ofcom is likely to treat any price increase4 to the agreed core subscription price (however constructed and described in the contract terms)5 during the fixed term of a telecommunications contract as a modification that is of, or is likely to be of, material detriment to consumer and small business subscribers for the purposes of GC9.6.6 7 The core subscription price is one of the most important factors in the subscribers choice of contract. It is likely to be the most important aspect of one of the key terms of the contract. There is likely to be a significant possibility that the subscriber would not have entered into that contract had they been bound to pay a different price to that they agreed."

marc: at 15:41:47 I will be looking into this matter in ,more depth.

info: at 15:43:16 Chris is having technical problems and can't chat. Hold on while we put you through to someone else.

info: at 15:43:16 You're through to 'sunny'

sunny: at 15:43:27 Hello, it's sunny here. What can I do for you?

marc: at 15:45:36 I will close this conversation as clearly I am not making any progress here.

sunny: at 15:46:40 I'll try my best to get this fixed Marc.

sunny: at 15:48:16 I haven't heard from you for a while. Are you still there?

sunny: at 15:50:02 As you haven't said anything for a while, I'm going to close the chat. If you want to start a new chat, click here.
