  1. This dog is a serious digging dog. He will enter anywhere and try to kill whatever is in there, which is why you have to be careful where you let the dog hunt loose. He is dug to on a regular basis. I appreciate you not having these problems keeping plummers but when you have little dogs that are too game for there own health then you have to be responsible. I wouldnt put this dog out to stud to the majority of Border bitches but I would like something off him to hunt cover that was a bit large for getting to ground. This is not a money making venture I should add and our pure kc Borders are never sold but kept by ourselves which is why they are a good strain..I hope that clears things up..

What lines are these borders?? I keep a few workers myself

    Jagdterrier fierce little workers.

    Figgy

Mostly with sh^te temperaments and the most expensive terrier about..IF you could find one bred out of stuff working to ground as most are oversize and used for Boar

  2. I have just been searching for FAC Air Rifles, to research, not to buy. I was disappointed to see the majority of them were less than 35ft lb...what is the point? Some were undisclosed and one was 50-80ft lb, but the majority out of 4 manufacturers were very underpowered for me, seeing as they are FAC.

Anyone know of any manufacturers? plus which makes are the easiest to get uprated to FAC?...Some of them prices......!!

Bob W are u the same Bob that had that black pup off me??If so PM me your requirements and Ill give you the cheapest options
  3. it is but if you want to keep it that way pictures that show how hard they have to fight are just best not shown in public.

Most people don't realise they have to fight hard down holes if they did you might find more pressure on stopping it. Showing pictures of your injured dog or anyone elses just isn't clever. I'm no anti but in the same way I'd not put my dog into that situation. Dog fighting etc has been banned and the injuries are remarkably similar you don't want your sport to be next

Did you see the date on pics?? Could have been seventies eighties nineties.Fight hard ? lost me. Anyway I have deleted them for the squeamish .Back to the breeding of the two differing breeds from the same foundation stock ..

  4. Oh now I see Mr W ..pengelliwatson of foxnorton ...If you know so much why didnt you trace your own dogs blood ..Find going back in one of yours will be Klaus.. Jess.. A Nixon lines which goes back to J Price stuff what was in Prices stuff ?? probably too far back for you..Brian Male? hasent seen a spade for years ..Although he did buy a pup off me recently Ludlams ?? where did Brian get his best terrier?:hmm: not hard to guess ask ..Bob where was his base stock from ???? easy just ask Could go on and on and on ..Now either give up on the **** or PM me your real name Yes??.Oh and the hound as you call it is tad under 14 inch and well spannable .AND he grafts albeit on the hard side ..But then every proper kennel should keep a few hard ones dont you agree??? Or all you will breed is yappers .Mousely haha .so much white lakie blood make me laugh .Judging so you are a well known judge eh?? yeah done a bit myself done the JRTCGB centenary show awhile back probably before your time also done the states germany holland etc ..Whats this one then ??12 inchor this youngster??

  6. Why did some Jack Russell Terrier owners want recognition for the breed, when the main body for the breed, the JRTCGB, were and are today very much against it ?

Money, Fame, a trip once a year to prance around the ring at Crufts ?

It certainly wasn't for the protection or for the good of the breed, but you would have to ask the founders of Parson Russell Club why ?

The Parson Russell Club do recognise the JRTCGB and not so long ago they were offering Kennel Club Registration for any JRTCGB registered dogs, as they know they have not got a good enough gene pool. No member with JRTCGB Registered Dogs as far as I'm aware crossed over.

Parson Russell Terriers are bred to make money, and are sold as pets to people sucked in by the Kennel Club registration, or to show them at Kennel Club Shows. All of the top Russell Terriermen in the UK, many of them internationally respected, use JRTCGB Terriers and not Parsons. I have also never seen a Parson Russell Terrier win any of the hundreds of Working Terrier Shows I've been to up and down the country.

It's a crazy situation to have two names for a breed of dog which are in all intents and purposes the same dog, but I think you know my feelings as a breeder of these dogs where I stand, which is on the side of the JRTCGB and the protection and preservation of the breed as a working dog.

As far as I'm concerned there is no need whatsoever for Parson Russell Terriers, and the existence of such a dog is bad for the breed.

NOW THIS IS TOTAL **** TALKING BREED WHAT BREED scatterbred ****.NOW NAME THE TOP TERRIERMEN IN THE UK USING JRTCGB terriers digging them not showing them .Owning a terrier doth not a terrierman make..
