Here is my now rare Alros Shadow M400 for sale. Comes with bag, Scope (Simmons 3-9x50), mount and large buddy bottle (around 200 shots per fill) I will even replace the o-ring before the sale so it is in tip top condition. The rifle and stock are in incredibly good condition. There is a small scratch on the buddy bottle but nothing to worry about could even be touched up but i have never bothered. If you sell just the rifle to someone else i will buy the rest of your kit. I have decided to stick to .22 but still need scope pump ect. so would just buy a new rifle if i can get the rest of kit for a good price.

This is proberly the higher end of the price list for these rifles but its not to bad if its been bought by the dealer in the last month or so because Weihrauch put there prices up just about 6 weeks ago. I think the new cataloge price is £310 (I know it is around that because a gun shop owner showed me it first hand) Some of the rifles have gone up by like £80 :yp: Not sure what there reason is behind it but it has caused me to have to buy second hand rather than new.

Thanks mate thats a good bit of advice and has i have said before the gunsmith at my local shop has had amany Gamos apart and say they have some quality part in them for the price and they are by no means the Worst rifle and are great for starting out because you get the scope and mounts in the price But saying that i have been swayed by peoples reviews and i am going to buy a hw95 or a hw95K not sure yet considering second hand so what ever comes up first

Also is it hard to strip one of these rifles haha i could to an SA80 with my eyes closed but wouldnt know where to start with one of these?

Ok i have decided to buy a Weihrauch HW95. But i could do with some help. I would like someone to tell me the difference between the HW95 and the HW95K? (I have seen them both advertised on different websites slightly different price but exactly the same picture ) Is there an older model of the HW95 that places/people will be selling cheaper? (Again there is a considerable price difference for the same model sometimes as much as £150 ) Is the HW95 discontinued like i have seen on some websites? So i suppose it comes down to me asking how much should i expect to pay for a HW95 either new or less than 12 months old second hand and is the HW95K better? Thanks Dave

Thanks for the reply due to many replys stating that a gamo is not the best i have been looking at the weihrauch hw95. Again talking to the local gun shop they dont have any problems with a bi pod on a springer but hey all i can do is buy one and try it. while writting this and reading air gun world at the same time the tactical is looking me in the face, i cant help but feel it is a really good looking bit of kit but i know if i get one i would have wished i had bought some thing different. What about the webley stinray 2 anyone got one its in the mag as winning 2008 Best New Air Hunting rifle. Again im sticking to .22

Just been down to my local gun shop. And had a chat with the guy there. Great guys down at Gows of Dundee. Got a feel of a few air rifles and to be fair i didnt really like the feel of the tactical and it is alot smaller than i had hoped! so i think thats out the window What do people think of Gamo the guys there told me there gunsmith had one apart and said it was made of some quality parts.

Thanks for getting back, Its just really hard to pick the right one there is so many contradicting reviews I like the idea of the black modern look to these rifles thats why i had considered. Maybe even a remington Genesis? the weihrauch look very nice lol the list just seems to be getting bigger rather than smaller. :o Im going to stick to .22 as i have shot .22 before and will be shooting mostly small rabbits and greys. Haha im not going to start that argument here iv seen it soooo many times on here already. O and do you get universal bi pods or not? I thought while i was picking a rifle i could start buying a few things i would need.

Just need a hand with what type of rifle to buy as my first? If you dont like any of these two rifles what do you recomend. Money doesnt permit me to spend over £240. Any comments would be great
