  6. thanks buddy, i really enjoying making rifle parts. i love modding them and tuning them. its something id like as a full time job. but theres no such armours course here in the uk and the nearest place i tried, a balistic center in devizes didnt need anyone. so if anyone has a job for me let me know!
  7. One being made So good you knurled it twice! Nice video, I'll have to watch more of yours. haha yea, the double knurl was a mistake.. you see the knurling tool i have is a unpredictable beast and sometimes it just produced a **** knurl. plus i was still over on the diameter to fit in the jig so everything turned out fine. id finally like to add my final design for these muzzle breaks. iv realised from talking to people is that all they want is a dirty great muzzle break for their rifle. so iv come up with this. this ones £29 including P&P and has 18 holes instead of 6 and is longer. 5cm in all. let me know what you guys think!
  8. of course, if you can provide me with a drawing of the end of the barrel, dimentions of the barrel at the muzzle end, so i know what taper to put on it. distance comming off the barrel etc and ill make one up for you mate.

One being made I accept paypal or cheque or cash (recorded delivery only) Send me a PM if your interested. thanks guys! Material trivia... Aluminium alloy 6082 is a medium strength alloy with excellent corrosion resistance. It has the highest strength of the 6000 series alloys. Alloy 6082 is known as a structural alloy. In plate form, Aluminium alloy 6082 is the alloy most commonly used for machining. As a relatively new alloy, the higher strength of Aluminium alloy 6082 has seen it replace 6061 in many applications. The addition of a large amount of manganese controls the grain structure which in turn results in a stronger alloy. 6082’s properties means it is typically used in… ·High stress applications ·Trusses ·Bridges ·Cranes ·Transport applications ·Ore skips ·Beer barrels ·Milk churns PS if you want one designed for your specific gun let me know.
  11. thanks buddy, its quite rewarding. I could start cherning these out if people were interested in buying them. it would be worth my while if i got 25 quid each as its quite labour intensive. I would also have to buy some more durable aluminium something like aircraft grade. 6xxx series.
  12. this took me about 3 and a half hours to make this while designing it. thats the sort of thing i can do. its a muzzle flash/thread protector for a Ruger 10/22
  13. how would i measure the chamber length? iv listed some measurements allready. thanks
  14. i just got myself a harrison l5a lathe. if anyone has any custom bit they want made send me a drawing and ill send you a price. thanks, Tom.
  15. reduced to £250 as i now desperatly need a holographic sight!
  16. ok guys despite our better judgement we went ahead and done it. the sights come off quite easly after a dose of mapp gas on the sights only and a little tapping with a hammer. this left us with some unblued parts. when we lightly sanded it down and re blued it, it was alot shinier type of bluing than the original. so now we are going to put the barrel in a lathe and smooth off the barrel and reblue the whole barrel. ill put a picture up when were done.
  17. i think if the stock was mistreated, paint would be a poor way of hiding the nicks and dents in the stock. it does not hide anything. if you would like some more detailed pictures i would put them up and open this up for more scrutiny.
  18. hi les, the stock looks semetrical on both sides so im assuming its ambidextrus. as for the colour i dont see how it would lower the value no more than varnish would. if you want need a plain wood stock id look elsewhere. i have had alot of comments about how nice it was by several people last time i went shooting. and i paid 390 for it, although it may not it worth 300 to others, thats all im prepared to let it go for as its worth more to me than the money is. thanks anyway, tom.
  19. its been sprayed with mat black. it kinda looks synthetic but its wood underneith. its a good job.
  20. hmm the barrel is 27 inches long and a nats bolloc* under 3.2 kilos
  21. SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD thanks pete! To facilitate the purchase of my new long barreled revolver .44 this has to go. paid 390 for it a few years ago, probably had 1000 cartridges through it max. asking for £300 got some cartridges to throw in aswell. it comes with 5 chokes in total and a choke key.
  22. he just paid 1100 for it. i have mapp gas, and im sure we can purchase the blueing agents if i put the heat onto the sight only while pulling it it should not put too much heat into the barrell. do you agree?
