  1. I use an old franchi and I had this trouble a lot untill I found out the trouble. Now it fires anything over 30 g . Take off the barrel and at the end of the mag tobe is a plastic ring, running in a grove in this ring is a steel ring . Make sure that tha gaps where the rings join are in line. This allow's the barrel to recoil smoothly and the gun to cycle.

  2. Just got home . Bought a nice gralocking knife and a bullet sleeve That fit's over the rifle stock. There were some good deals on 2n'd hand rifles. I didn't think it was so busy today and some stands seemed to be missing. Getting out was much easier this time.

  3. Thank's for the input fellas. It seems as though the bullet is not getting it's nose up and the whole thing jump's clear of the bolt base first. The extractor claw is a semicircular affair on the top of the bolt. I've taken it off and cleaned it.

  4. can anyone sujest why my BSA 243 has started playing up? When I work the bolt to cycle another round sometimes the bullet misses the extractor and jumps out of the gun base first or the bolt catches the round amidships. I am useing it as a single shot at the moment. ???

  5. I have just bought an air arms S200 . With this I get 60 - 70 shots per fill , ten shot magazine and same hole accuracy at 35 y'ds. for around £300. Why would I want to spend a fortune on another "named" gun for the same results? I had a superten and the only real advantage was more shot's per fill. It was a lot hevier to carry as well.
