Few close ups the camera does not do the field of view any justice red dot on half power i can shine it directly at the kitchen light and easily see the red dot. Forgot to mention the rings have built in bubble levels!

Hi yes it will fit a short action or long action it’s a lot more compact than it looks in the photo, the beauty of this model is that you are not restricted to using a special mount like some of the shorter models. From the eye peace to the bell it’s 150mm or 6” in old money! Long with total length of 230mm with the mounts it weighs 480 grams or 14 ounces in old money. Hope this helps.
