Cheers to all you guys for shedding some light on what gun to look for.

I am in me forties and getting ready to buy my first ever shotgun [12g] , basically for woodpigeon , i need something with a bit of recoil as i have a bad right shoulder having had a number of operations on it over the years and it wont take too much hammer , i think anyway , my price range is up to £500 any suggestions on what gun might be suitable or guns . cheers
