I own a tikka M558 with zeiss diatal z 6x42 scope all second hand, and found that the most important thing when buying second hand is the rifling in the barrell if this is realy worn then the guns not worth a light, my sugestion to u would be to buy the best quality rifle u can afford, agood scope can always come later, don't be persuaded to buy a rifle just cos it has the latest all singing all dancing scope stuck on the top!!! the rifle could be shot out.

  4. Dear All, Yes they are a matched pair, numbered one and two on the top lever and fore end. Barrel length is approximately 27 1/2 inches. Dont know chokes. Sorry for the delay in replying was in hospital yesterday! Picture will follow later today.

Serial numbers 170019 and 170020. 12 Bore side-by-side shotguns with three locking lugs and side clips. Double intercepting sears and cocking indicators. Automatic ejectors and safety. Chopper lump (Demiblock) barrels with flat rib. They come with the following optional extras: Pistol grip stocks Churchill Ribs Selective single triggers No. 2 grade wood. Minor repairs have been carried out on stocks. Both guns serviced at Greenfields Gunmakers of Salisbury in October 2008. I have a letter from ASI which are the AYA importers, verifying date of manufacture. Retail price in 2004 for a new pair was £13,481.60. Selling this pair for £4,500 OVNO.
