Do a search for an Angel Eye, got one a few weeks ago
and it does a fairly decent job for the money.

Was the NV from Canterbury the 5x50? The one advertised on their
site is a 3x40.
-
If anyones interested in buying one check out the auction site,
a bloke on there must have a contact at either Bresser or Lidls !
They start at £75.

I'll often go out, sit down facing a wood with the Pulsar/.22 and let the rabbits come
out to me. I sit with the gun on sticks and spot with a Bresser and added i.r. It is easier to
look around that way but not crucial.

I've had both over the years and i don't think rabbits worry too much
about the sex of the ferret when the stink is trying to grab it around
the neck. A good working ferret can be of either sex, most will work, just
some better than others.
At the moment i've a single, entire hob which means he won't have the health
issues some jills can have. If/when i get another it'll be another hob and it'll
then be conker removal time for both. :o

I first saw these years ago in Thanet and they've slowly moved back inland towards
Canterbury (Upstreet) and the outskirts of Herne Bay.

For a deep clean on the 10/22 i take out the trigger unit and bolt then spray
them and receiver with Abbey Degreasing spray. After a good wipe and poke with cotton buds
i put everything back and give the moving parts a squirt of GT85 ptfe spray. As with most rimfires
the barrel gets done when i can be bothered.

I think you'll find it's a specific variation. Very good round.

Bought a Browning 425 at the CLA a few years back and haggled so hard
the bloke said i must have been a farmer .Dont ask dont get but
added extras are often easier to get deal clinchers.

For what make gun? For my CZ i use an empty 20 bore case with
the primer knocked out. Seems to do the job.
-
Or try packing the back ring with a bit of tape and shoot at the paper
from about 20 yds.

The short answer is no. They are handy in unlit, gloomy
situations though.

Had the same thing happen every now and then with my Baikal. Just make sure the cocking lever is pushed
as far forward as possible and then give it a go.

Check Solway Feeders. The traps are good copies and do the job just aswell
as originals. Even with p+p its worth a look.

Me too, lamping a month ago with blue tips. Only realised when the next round didn't want to chamber!
Thought it was strange when the rabbit just hopped on into the hedge. Got to say that i didn't even
hear any difference in the shot going off.

Yeah, go for it. I bought my reloading gear for the 223
about 18 months ago and its another part to the sport.
I worked out i'll only have to live to the age of 126 to
break even .

It makes you wonder if it was killed by something. I would of thought any half decent ferret
would have a good chance of survival in the countryside.

Gave the CZ 453 a right Royal clean this week and decided it was time
to put it on paper for a refresher of its capabilities. It's been about
three months since the last outing due to me using a .22 nv combo over
the winter and today being quite still looked ideal .
Load all my bits into the sniper bag, take off to the permission, put a
board up, put a shooting mat down, load mag, get gun from bag and set it
up just so. First shot flies and goes maybe a centermetre low and left at
72 yds. Not bad. Next shot, deep breath and hold, pull the trigger.
Click, no bang, pop or even poof, just click. I wait a couple of seconds
pull back the bolt and there we have a case with no bullet just powder.
Oh well, home we go, bullets been pushed out now and there's always tomorrow
i suppose! Sniper bag now has a break down rod in, i suggest you get one too.
