  1. I suppose either ,but don't know how much RFD charge and how to go about it,does the buyer nominate a RFD or does it involve two one for the seller and one for the buyer? Face to face must be the simpler option ,if I ever buy something some distance from home I usually make a day of it and look around the area .thanks for the enquiry cheers Terry

  3. when i was a teenager walking to work one snowy morning and found a gold ladies ring,on my return home that night i pulled the ring out of my pocket and gave it to my mam ,who then told me it had her initials on it, after mam died years later i passed the ring onto my daughter whom also had the same initials : :hmm:

  4. Hi All,

I have mixed and poured the remaining half ton of concrete for my garden wall footing today after getting rained off yesterday.

It's about 9M x 9" x 6" deep, about an hour after the final pour we had a heavy shower then dried again, then rain again. Is there any issue with leaving it uncovered as i don't have anything to cover it? The mix is a 4:1 and not wet, just enough water as I didn't want to weaken the mix.

    Cheers,

    Jon.

hi there ,shoudnt be a problem at 4to 1even if it pours down :good:

  5. hi there

ive been on the same trail for a while now,and tried the ranger, hilux and the isuzu rodeo, the best was the hi lux but at the price it ought to be, i have settled for a rodeo as it was a good drive and i think a good value truck and to be honest you wouldn't think the hilux was worth another 8k or so,specs pretty good on the rodeo and the guys at the dealership were a lot more helpfull, good luck with your choice :hmm: terry b

  6. hi chris

sounds like your doing well with him, mines also nine months and i have used ta starting pistol and also cut down some 12 gauge cartridges so as just leaving the primers in ,when fired they just crack a little like the starting pistol, thing is starting pistols are a more conveinent way as you dont have to find a place where you can take the shotgun,i have been using the pistol on fields bordering my house and have talked to the other residents to explain what i'm doing and so far had no problems regarding the police etc. i started by firing the pistol at random while he was out in front and no problems gradualy getting closer to the stage where he can now sit by me and i fire the pistol in the air above him and no problems at all,you can get long and short blanks so by starting with the short ones with the quieter report then progress onto the louder long ones,my pistol cost £32 and was money well spent,i know i need to get him onto full shot but feel that to introduce things slow and gradual is the way to go ,any advice would be wellcome on this :good: : good luck with the training best regards terry :good:
