  1. I wouldn’t be without my 110 , does everything I want , daily drive as well but works only five mile away , if we go any distance it’s the missus mini

if I had to go further I think the only other option for me would be the “ Japanese “ pick up with lockable bed cover , don’t hink there’s much to choose between them !

Im looking forward to it , one of the high spots of summer if weathers good ! Was going to the shooting show but that paying extra to park on top of entrance fee is taking the mickey !

I really hate it when it feels like you’re being taken for a ride , I know that to hire the nec must be a fortune , but the car park spaces are there all 16,000 of them it makes no odds to anyone if they are used or not there is no extra expenditure involved ,I thought the whole point of the nec was a purpose made show area out of the city to attract people ? Just feels like greed on someone’s part if they charged £5 or £50 it’s just pure profit !

How can he be prosecuted if there’s no speed limit?

Driving without due care and attention if they deem he was driving dangerously, they don’t have set speed limits but they do expect you to be sensible !

  4. No speed limit on a lot of the autobahns in Germany but that is taking the p—S , think he might be in trouble there , think it comes under the driving with due care and attention ! I’m pretty sure unless he was a professional racing driver his reaction times would be 100 mph under that !

  5. Cheers for that , no it’s odd , I was hoping to come on here and have a flurry of “ oh yeah that’s beretta they do shoot a little high “

no used same choke top and bottom barrel pretty much the same it was odd that the more open the choke was the more pronounced it became , even so much with an open choke fired at the bottom right corner of plate and got a good central pattern ?

  6. Guys , bit of advice must be a few people on here who shoot the above ? Just bought one , nice condition silver pigeon 1 , first time out I’m missing a  few pigeons I should be hitting ! , no problem new gun bit of getting used too ! Took it out today and put it on a pattern plate , all the  chokes top and bottom barrel , full choke looks really good on paper good pattern dead centre but as you start to open up the chokes it starts to shoot a little high and left , had used modified and improved , 30 g no 6 carts .

thinking of going to full and improved see if that helps but is this normal on berettas ? Do they shoot a little high ? Thanks all

  7. I’m glad I saw that , was planning on going , would pay £30 for a ticket I guess if you’re there all day it’s not bad ! But no way will I pay parking on top of a ticket ! That’s taking the **** !

I can see the headlines next month “ no one supporting the shooting industry , “ they need to take a look at themselves !

I always keep super glue handy for closing small wounds.

After nearly losing my ear to some scrotes boot on the rugby pitch that's exactly what the A+E staff used to put it back together.

Just make sure it’s medical grade , not the cheap stuff you can get in Poundland , think the ones hospitals use is called dermabond

  9. Hi , the latter thinking is to try and avoid celox granules and use the gauze as to the granules having to be cleaned out of a wound when reaching hospital which is both painful and can reopen the wound , but if it saves a life then it’s worth it !

The other items worth carrying in a shooting first aid kit is an Israeli bandage and a cat tourniquet but you need to know how to use them

the other great thing to have is the “ what three words “ app , the emergency services use this and if you work in the countryside it’s great to get them to you much quicker than trying to give an address or directions , look it up if you don’t know it

  10. I’ve posted before on this but have just come back from one today , quidenham estate in Norfolk , would recommend to anyone , and I think great value , £240 for breakfast , elevenses , proper lunch sit down in the lodge and drinks through the day , four drives two on a peg load then shoot , used just over 300 carts and the birds were presented really well , I would say this is top end and for what you get I don’t think you could beat it !

After shooting here I certainly wouldn’t pay any more but with most things I think you get what you pay for with the cheaper ones , guess it’s the difference between a proper driven day or a rough shoot on the farm

  11. Most firms these days would say you need both . Plumber to fit it sparky to wire it up , days of a general builder who would do everything been knocked back by health and safety and general lack of common sense !
