Hi y'all, Oops, just ripped the front sling attachment out of my 1717 stock by over-tightening the bipod. It's not definitely a write-off as I could repair it, but I just wondered if anyone knows of a decent synthetic and preferably tactical-ish stock for the 1717 cos I quite fancy a change. Cheers mick

Hi all, I am new to this excellent looking forum and hope someone may be able to help. About 6 months ago I found a gunsmith in Kent, I don't even remember how I found him, the internet probably, but he said on the phone that if I called first I could bring my Anschutz 1717 in and he would knock 6 inches off the barrel and re-crown and re-thread it while I waited, as I'd be driving an hour to get there. I can't for the life of me remember who it was, and I can't find them again.... but I'm gagging to get this rifle chopped! Anyone know who it could have been, or got any recommendations for someone who could do this within an hour or so of Kingston upon Thames? Huge thanks in advance. --
