I'm still having trouble working this out! I think i'm going to stretch the budget and go for for an AA pro sport. Do you think this is a good idea? Should I go fro .22 or .177? Can someone recommend scope/mounts and pellets for this rifle? Apart from a case, is there anything else I should consider? Thanks for your help, Earthling.

I'm going to go for a springer, whats the actual difference between these HW97 or HW77 HW80? Cheers.

I'm even more confused now lol. I hadn't thought about a PCP. To be honest I don't know anything about them. How do you charge them up? What are the pro's/con's vs a springer? Cheers.

Hello all, seems like a very informative site so I thought i'd join up. I used to shoot air rifles when I was a lad and recently had a play with my mates rifle and got the bug again. Anyway, I want to buy a rifle that is good for shooting wood pigeons and rabbbits. I want the best quality I can get but would like value for money. I have a budget of around £400 but I would also need to get decent scope and possibly a silencer? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks, Earthling
