  1. Paddy, I'm glad the procedures work for you. I dont think there that good and I'm here saying just that. I've had my say, others seem happy with the way things are, so I'll just get on with it. I appologies if I've upset anyone.
  2. Diceman...your signiture says it all! I just need to find the conductivity and I will stop being a mardy so and so and tow the line
  3. I think I'm being more than fair with the price of that gun. I'm not out to rip anyone of. I appriciate things are only worth what buyers are willing to pay...you don't find that out until you test the water. I'll say it again, I'm not trying to be an ******** I just want an explantion of the rule. If we all ecepted things because they are so, we would still be living in caves...
  4. What we pay,,more specifically what we don't pay is not the point. Monetary or other, there is some gain for those involved..our participaion sustains that gain, and for it we expect a good (logical) service.
  5. LOL, yea I have got a bee in my bonet I agree..just letting of steam. This is the only shooting forum I'm a member of. others are motorbikes, fishing ect ect the list goes on. Jason, I'm not sure what you said it true, the topic wont shift within the for sale directory (at least I don't think it will)...it might show on the overall list of updated topics...which might not be being viewed by people specifically looking for guns for sale, hanks for your input though. I'm not trying to be an *******.I just want to understand..maybe it's me missing the point...oh and all the other forums...LOL
  6. Oh, and it would be courteous if the mod actually PM'd the topic creator idvising why the topic was removed.
  7. Cheers, I would bump it if bumping brought topics to the forefront of the directory LIKE ALL OTHER FORUMS I AM A MEMBER OFF (which are of a vast diversity >30 might I add)instead, the topic reamins in date created order..not last updated order...these guys here are very much stuck in their ways and behind times. Do we need a poll to review this? Remember..forums serve the users....and should not be steered by the interests of those that up keep them...either do it right (I appriciate it is a time consuming role) or leave it to others to do right.
  8. I expect it is because I advertised the gun last month..and is still in the classified pages?? Yes? Right, my for sale topic is now on page 6/7 due to it being a month old...yet the gun is still for sale. There are sold guns I.e. Topics that are no longer relevant...because the item is no longer for sale!! on earlier pages. I've said it before and I'll say it again, the no bump rule which prevents active topics from appearing first is NOT in the interest of forum users....why do you mods think it's acceptable to have topics where guns have sold still clogging up pages of directories meaning users have to filter page after page to find active/relevant topics!! Us sellers struggle to gain interest on older topics. Come on PWF...get with the times. Please at least justify your self before you delete this post and tell me why you continually delete my posts and also what you would rather me do.
  9. Hi All, For sale is my Fabarm beta lux 12b side by side single trigger ejector with selective barells. It is a lovley classy looking gun in superb, as new condition. It's fixed chokes at 1/4 and 3/8, barells are 30". The break is still a little stiff it's had that little use!! It works 100 percent as you would expect. The stock has nice wood and I would say it's average in size with a pull of around 14" It's a right handed stock. Fabarm make fantastic high quality guns, this was over £1200 new. I'm only selling it beacuse the sindicate I had joined didn't run this year and I'm just not getting any use out of the gun..as such I've lost interest and would rather put the money into something else. I'm after £650 inc 250 cartriges. Heres some pics: Viewings welcome, situated in Rotherham area Yorkshire. Willing to RFD if the buyer organises it with a RFD their end. Be different from the over and under boys with no loss of performance! Cheers, Col.

  11. Hi Damo, as Swiss pointed out, I'm indeed in Rotherham Muggins, cheers for that Toads, I'm a lefty and I can shoot it no problem (That said I have only ever shot right handed guns, this mounts better for me than the others did) Col.

  13. Willing to send to RFD if the buyer organizes it with there local RFD.
  14. Hi Stuart, The gun is cast, right hand. I'm in Rotherham. Oh, by the way, I didn't mention it in the advertisement, but it is a 12 bore. Gaz, Thank you. Col.
  15. Don't quote me JRDS because I haven't looked into this, but I think the number ref to how much metal is still remaining from full choke to cylinder. So full choke = 1 and cylinder = 0 the larger the number the smaller the diameter. Even though 1/2(0.5) is a bigger number than 3/8(0.375) it is closer to 1 than 3/8 and by the system I understand it is a tighter barell than 3/8, so it is possible to bore out a 1/2 barell to 3/8. My fault, I should have got the numbers right first time around. Col.
  16. Hi Shinybum, Thanks, what I meant to say is it's choked at 1/4 and 3/8, was originally 1/4 and 1/2, the 1/2 was bored out slightly to 3/8. That's me forgetting that less is more when talking about chokes Cheers, Col.
  17. Hi Kipper, I'm the second owner from new. The guy before me who is from the same village as me only used it an handfull of times, I've been out with it three times since I've had it. I think the gun was made in 2008, although If I told you it was only a couple of months old you would believe me..it's imaculate. The cast isn't that heavy, I'm left handed and can shoot it without any issues. Cheers, Col.
