  2. Airarms TX200 springer £750 http://www.airgunbbs.com/showthread.php?637171-TX200-SR-177-Venom-Tuned-with-Gary-Cane-Stock.

    HW97 £375 http://www.airgunbbs.com/showthread.php?637201-HW97k-.177-cal-Scope-Mount-Sling-Adjustable-Butt-Pad-and-Pellets.

but you need a Airarms S510 pcp side lever multishot really

presume you cant use a 410 hushpower or fac air

Did think of a silenced 410 haven't spoke to the owner but to be fair I couldn't imagine it being a problem ,it's my uncle and the land is an old landfill site that nature has took over 15 years ago in the middle of now where , wouldn't cost anything to ask would it !!

  3. I'd say 500 ish ain't bothered if its second hand , I am just old fashioned and prefer how simple modern springers are but I did like how accurate I was more or less straight away with the pcp even standing shots 40 yards weren't an issue really , could that type of shooting be achievable with a good springer without having to spend years working at it ???

  4. Ok haven't been on here for a good few months but would appreciate some advice ?

Just got a new permission not very big 9ish acres lots of cover and not massive distances maybe 60 meters tops between cover/ warrens , it's air gun only no s/g , my gold star although in great nick is just too cumbersome had it must be 18 years and never really gelled with it ... So ,,,

What to do , shot a mates s200 n it is fantastic but can't be ***** with the shot count and refilling , do fancy how easy it was to shoot accurately tho ,but would prefer something less faffy ie tx200hc or a 97 k ,

Must point out it would be 177 , shot 22 all my life and been converted with the s200

Any thoughts or recommendations are welcome thanks in advance stu

  11. i live about 20 mile away and avoid it like a dose of the pox!!!!!!!

unless its a hospital appointment my advice is you do the same......

you might think im being unhelpfull but mark my words youll never get the time back

sorry i cant be more helpfull but whenever i have to go i always come away depressed the place is an arm pit.

  12. it aint to bad to use the web sites it costs the money sending off for the birth ,marrage , death certificates, which you do need to prove the dates the wifes done mine but hers goes back to 800 ad sofar,!!!!!!..... the highlight of mine was my granddads brother was a tramp !!!!!

  13. im not a crank or drunkerd but i cant explain what i saw last night and wondered if anybody mite be able to shed some light on the subject please, long story short,my niece phoned her dad at 7ish saying theres an odd twinkling light and didnt know what it was ,her dad watched it thru binos 7x30s for a while and phoned me to set my spotting scope up hes on his way round,it took a bit of finding but we got it,let me say it was very clearly visible with the naked eye pulsing red white ,thru the binos it was definatly red and blue, still a dot type thing but thru the scope it looked like a circle not a sphere or a blob or anythin else just a circle blue top half red bottom with greenish sides ,four of us watched it in total for an hour and half thru the scope and binos, however this is what i find strange while i was watching it lost its colouring and turned a pale buttery white ring with four or five inner rings of the same colour and a black center (white ring black ring white ring black ring etc)it never moved in hour and half and remained s,s,e from me and about 35-40 degrees from the horizontal ,it was very far away even on 60x power in the eyepiece it was never any bigger than perhaps 4-5mm in diameter .sorry its long winded but any ideas?

  14. myzeneye is right its a fantastic read ,i read it a couple of years ago now and the bit that gets me is when he has to brake the bones in the arm to sepparate himself from the rotten tissue ,if i remember right i dont think his knife was the sharpest or biggest either,i hope the film does him justice ,ive always been let down by films of this ilk when ive read the book before hand ,touching the void? it was ok but after your read joe simpsons books (and hes done a few) it misses the mark alittle i thought.

still going to watch it tho

  15. i have to hold my hands up big YES from me ,i used to revel in this weather in my youth especialy when i used to off road most weekends with a variety of heavely modified landies,it really does make you a better driver in the snow when your used to driving in mud and s... all the time .unfortunatly its more of a nessecity nowadays driving in it.yesterdays journey took me three hours to do 30 mile to see my accountant , i just cant help feel smug when i see the less fortunate slipping and sliding allover the place he-he.
