  1. I used to own an Apex XD75 and it was superb. Foolishly sold it to buy the new Trail XP38 from Pulsar which was a big step down in terms of identification capability. The picture was superb to about 100yds but rapidly declined after that. The XD75 was great to 200yds.

Net result, I now use my old Pulsar Quantum XD50 spotter with traditional scope/lamp to shoot.

  2. Pulsar Trail XP38 thermal riflescope for sale.

Only two weeks old and used a total of four times.

Boxed as new with all accessories.

    Unforeseen circumstances force sale.

£3450 posted via insured courier or collection from South East Kent.

    Pics available on request

  3. The swivel tops from bucket seats are a perfect fit, albeit depending on the thickness you may not be able to fold the chair completely as you can without.

They do, however, make a perfect upgrade to improve the comfort of the seat.

I have mine attached by Velcro so can take the top off when storing the chair.

  4. I bought this drone a couple of months back and it's not getting the use I thought it would having only been flown three or four times.

It comes boxed with an extra battery (worth £129.99 alone).

    Includes:

    Drone

    Remote controller

    Charger

    Spare battery

    Spare propellers

    £500 posted Parcelforce tracked delivery.

PayPal ok as long as buyer pays fees.

    Bank transfer fine too.

  5. Thermal rifle scopes are truly pointless unless you have the money to buy a good military spec one.

The thermal cross over at certain points of the day/night can render the scope pretty much useless and unless you have a very high spec one target ID is iffy and there is room for you shooting something you don't want too.

Stick with thermal spotters and NV scopes, unless you have deep pockets.

I disagree - I have an Apex and have no issues identifying quarry using either that or the Pulsar Quantum at the ranges I'm happy shooting at (200yds or less) - although identIfication is easily achievable at ranges well beyond that.

I have used my Apex all year round in daytime and at night and have no issues. In fairness, the colder the weather is the better it performs, but you can clearly see everything you need to including backstops etc.

I know many others that shoot very successfully with them too.

  6. They will detect at that range but you won't know what you're looking at, just a heat source of some sort. There are new Pro models about to be released which are meant to be better quality in terms of detection and identification.

If you're using one to find shot game, they're very good, but are certainly not a cheap alternative to a good thermal spotter.

  7. You might be right, interestingly, I moved house in Jan this year and emailed them the details. I said in my email that I wouldn't be sending my license in until they were ready to send my new ones in order to keep being able to buy ammo etc. Weirdly they sent me the new licenses without asking for the old ones and without any inspection, phone call etc.

    Took 5 months though!
