  1. I used to own an Apex XD75 and it was superb. Foolishly sold it to buy the new Trail XP38 from Pulsar which was a big step down in terms of identification capability. The picture was superb to about 100yds but rapidly declined after that. The XD75 was great to 200yds. Net result, I now use my old Pulsar Quantum XD50 spotter with traditional scope/lamp to shoot.
  2. Low light-wise, it was certainly a big improvement on my previous Leupold, especially with the illuminated display. I purchased mine from Scott Country International.
  3. I have one, really nice range finder. The specs for it say minimum range distance is 5 yards.
  4. I don't have mine to hand to measure, but in terms of comfort, I found the cushion from any old spinning bucket seat fits perfectly on the Begara.
  5. Sent mine off in April and it expires in a couple of weeks. Temp certificate received last week so they are definitely on the ball. my last variation was done over the phone too.
  6. Should've been 3450 or near offer.
  7. Pulsar Trail XP38 thermal riflescope for sale. Only two weeks old and used a total of four times. Boxed as new with all accessories. Unforeseen circumstances force sale. £3450 posted via insured courier or collection from South East Kent. Pics available on request
  8. Changed my Wildcat for a Ducis mod from Calibre Innovations. Really pleased I did - absolutely superb mod.
  9. The swivel tops from bucket seats are a perfect fit, albeit depending on the thickness you may not be able to fold the chair completely as you can without. They do, however, make a perfect upgrade to improve the comfort of the seat. I have mine attached by Velcro so can take the top off when storing the chair.
  10. I have the Recknagel on my x-bolt which cost me around £40 from Alan Rhone via eBay a couple of years back. It is good quality.
  11. Musto Technical Tweed Shooting Coat - XXL I believe the tweed is called 'Bracken' but is a brown tweed with hints of red. In excellent condition £220 posted Paypal ok if buyer pays fees.
  12. I have two that I use with Pulsar devices. One is a Yukon MPR and is good, but does compress the image that it records a fair bit. The other I got recently is a Lawmate PV500. Bit more expensive but the footage is better quality. http://www.scottcountry.co.uk/products_detail.asp?productID=3618
  13. My first thermal was the Apex XD75. I've been using it for a year and a bit now. I've recently bought a Quantum XD50 too. Like one of the earlier posters, if any of it broke, I'd beg borrow and steal to get another of each.
  14. Another vote for the FLX500 from Scott Country from me. I've had the GC350 and also a very expensive FoxPro Fusion, and the FLX500 outshines the pair of them. I genuinely have never had so many foxes come into an electronic call before. For the money you can't go wrong.
  15. Really easy. Like Fister says, you can stick calls on an SD card and pop it in the back of the caller. From there, sync the remote and you're good to go. Superb caller.
  16. Immaculate condition Bose QC25 headphones. They will come in original case with original cable and aeroplane headphone adaptor. Selling as have bought wireless ones. £120 posted RM tracked. PayPal ok if buyer pays fees Bank transfer also fine
  17. I bought this drone a couple of months back and it's not getting the use I thought it would having only been flown three or four times. It comes boxed with an extra battery (worth £129.99 alone). Includes: Drone Remote controller Charger Spare battery Spare propellers £500 posted Parcelforce tracked delivery. PayPal ok as long as buyer pays fees. Bank transfer fine too.
  18. I disagree - I have an Apex and have no issues identifying quarry using either that or the Pulsar Quantum at the ranges I'm happy shooting at (200yds or less) - although identIfication is easily achievable at ranges well beyond that. I have used my Apex all year round in daytime and at night and have no issues. In fairness, the colder the weather is the better it performs, but you can clearly see everything you need to including backstops etc. I know many others that shoot very successfully with them too.
  19. They will detect at that range but you won't know what you're looking at, just a heat source of some sort. There are new Pro models about to be released which are meant to be better quality in terms of detection and identification. If you're using one to find shot game, they're very good, but are certainly not a cheap alternative to a good thermal spotter.
  20. I emailed Kent re change of address in early Feb, got my new certs through in July. I offered to send my old certificates in when the new ones were ready but they just sent the new ones out.
  21. Have a look at th Tracer F900 too. I have a NM800 with x-searcher, the F900 knocks spots off it in all regards. The pill is dead easy to change and the kit comes with mount etc
  22. I've not actually met them yet, used to be Tony Rawlinson before I moved but I it's now Richard Kirby who has been excellent on the phone whenever I've chatted to him.
  23. You might be right, interestingly, I moved house in Jan this year and emailed them the details. I said in my email that I wouldn't be sending my license in until they were ready to send my new ones in order to keep being able to buy ammo etc. Weirdly they sent me the new licenses without asking for the old ones and without any inspection, phone call etc. Took 5 months though!
