    Hiya, as above, anyone got a set for sale...just bought a new Photon XT and ( cant believe this) cant get mounts,...anyone got a spare set for sale?? prefer NOT to use Sportsmatch...but, will do if needed.

    :unhappy: cleared out my uncles yard a few years back and there were 1000's which the recycling centre would not take. So we left them in the shed for the new owner to 'sort out' :rolleyes:

    Hiya, I'm looking for any amount of scrap 303 cases...in almost any condition...dirty, bent/buckled doesnt matter...

    They are needed so they can be laid out on the firing step on a repro WW1 trench which is going to be built at a museum near Carlisle. I'm also going to put some FMJ bullets into some, so as to make up inert ammo for the manniquins in the display.

    The only problem with any dedicated NV and i think thats what the photon is best at,is that your tying up one rifle,unless you buy qd mounts and a rail,but for the money you cant really go wrong

     

    if i were to go down the NV route again, i would get either ward d 800(if i were doing alot of night shooting),or one of dave gs units,if it was only occassional nights

    I bought the Photon to go on my wee CZ 222, it's my lamping rifle...and now to be a dedicated NV rifle... Still got my 243 and 270 for other shooting...:)

     

    Its going to be coupled with a T38 that should be here very soon..., ...but, think I'll just be buying 30mm mounts for the Photon...as the mount plus a rail is sending the costs sky high...:)...

    I literally just picked my Photon up today...it's going on my CZ 527 in 222......BUT, like a muppet, forgot to pick up the mounts...back to the shop tomorrow now...been playing around with it all afternoon ( the scope :) ) and it seems great, easy enough to work...cant wait to get out with it tomorrow night.. :)

     

    Just ordered a T38 from Ludicrous Lumins as well, as advised...:)

     

    BTW, anyone know what mounts i'll need to buy?? :)

    Hiya, Looking for a Webley 455, either a CO2 airgun, or replica, to finish off a WW2 Uniform with a Same Browne I'm doing....Airgun doesnt have to fire,can have internals missing etc ... as it's just for the "look" to sit in the holster....smile.gif

    Hiya, The HMR is long gone, and just found this in the gun cabinet...in great condition, it was my spare which was'nt used that much at all.

  15. Remington 700 S/A ADL Synthetic Stock c/w metalwork.

    Hiya, Had this stock lying in the cupboard for a while now, it's off my own Remington 700 S/A in 243 caliber. I changed it for a mag type stock.

     

    Its off an ADL model, and could be handy for swapping on a wooden stocked gun, in great condition, and all works as it should. Their is one little bit of "grinding" , done by the previous owner to the very end of the stock to enable the fitting of a T8 mod. That type of mod wouldnt have fitted the stock without it being done. It;s never effected me at all. Please look at the photos.

     

    It comes c/w the metalwork, incl sling swivels. Also has a great rubber butt pad that really does the job.

     

    In one of the pics, it looks like the ammo box has a line of rust along the top, aint so, just the way the pic came out, all fittings are fine, no rust, or damage.

     

    I'm thinking this would be worth £30 posted, the metal work itself should be worth that...but happy to listen to very near offers.

    We edit on the boxes, just been asked what rounds they cover, the smaller is a RSS-50 Rifle box, it does from 22-250 to 7.62x45 and the larger one is a RM-50 Rifle medium, from 219 Zipper to 410 shotshell...hope this helps.

    Hiya, My mate ( not a member) is looking for a decent 223, it will be his first CF rifle....cheap as chips, and hopefully a full setup.
