many thanks for that i have just bought that gun got a leaking bottle that needs looking at and he had it advertised as a mk 2 but infact it was a later mk 1 ended up paying a lot less than asking price cant wait to try it out as ever guys thanks for your help pete

Hi guys can any one help ,i am looking for a theoben rapid in .177 ,i have looked on the usual sites but they all seem to be in the shires ,bit far to go to have look .tried a few posts on other sites and got replies from people saying their .22 rapid they are selling ,non f a c( for silly money) take rabbits out at past 100 yards (they do make me laugh , must think every one is as stupid as them ) this is the only site that always has had sensible and honest opinions on it many thanks for looking Pete

Thanks for the reply but the airgun centre do not have any of the equipment to recharge as i quote we sold the lot and any problems they have with theobens seem to go to the air gun doctor however i have now got it sorted it was done by international firearms i now have a charge hose for it if any one needs to borrow it thanks for all your replies pete

I have been looking on the net to find a price for a weirauch silencer to fit my hw 80 and seem to be having not much luck ( all seem to say ring for prices ) i am aware i will have to go to my local gun shop and do a ftf as the laws have now changed on posting such items does any one know the going rate for one/ or recomend an alternative the barrell is screw cut so shouldnt have to many problems thanks in advance pete

Just. put the barrel into a gun smith he reckons he will be able to straighten it no problem. as you have said the gun must have been fired with it cocked. he said he has seen a few like this .so all i need now. is replace washer on piston. get hold of a scope and silencer. and fit the barrel problem when its done ill let you know how it goes

I wll try it but the barrell is bent 2 seperate directions /sold the gun a few years sgo after owning it for 16 years,to a mate who then lent it out (you know the story )it was then returned to him in this condition so i offered to buy it back .he was so embarassed by the condition of it ,he let me have it for free .the story goes the gun was dropped as the scope had a massive dent also i think some one has changed the spring will need to chrono but without a straight barrell this may be a false reading and i donot want to shoot it as it is .This does make me wonder why or how some one can abuse a once pristine gun to this degree.
