Nothing around spennymoor area only seen a few birds on rape, pigeons mainly sticking to the woods (on my patch anyway)

What dates have you got in mind, wouldn't mind having a go

I have a benelli m2 and again a great semi auto my son also uses this on the clay ground with great results and has no issues with lighter loads

Just bought a Browning B725 a few weeks back, put about 1200 carts through it so far and I am really impressed, my score has increased and I am shooting better than ever. Had a problem when I first starting using the gun the second barrel sometimes never used to fire, this was my fault, discovered that I had a little trigger freeze and wasn't fully releasing the trigger fully before the next shot. Gonna take it out and give it a try in the hide at the weekend and see how we get on, hoping that the cart to kill ratio will also improve. Anybody else using the B725? What are your thoughts?

Thanks for all your comments guys, went to the gun shop this morning and tried all on my shortlist for fit and the m2 felt right for me so went with the benelli. Went straight out for an hours play when I got back from the shop (like a big kid) and it is awesome really happy with every aspect of the gun, managed to knock down 4 pigeons which were pretty testing shots in the process. Think me and benelli are new best friends

How does the sbe2 shoot, looked at one of these the other week and was considering one however most of my shooting is on pigeon and didn't feel the need for the 3.5" chamber, is there many other differences between the m2 and sbe2

I will give the sx3 a wiggle when I am visiting the gun dealers tomorrow and see what they are like, I do like the a400 and my dealer has a good second hand one for just over a grand with the kick off system so will also have a good look at that to.

I am off to buy a new semi for pigeon shooting tomorrow, torn between the benelli m2, browning maxus or a400 explor. All seem to have good reviews, has anybody used any of these and what would you recommend.

Has anybody got a spare wing spreader for a pigeon magent, I seem to have lost one of mine thought it would have been in my decoy bag but must have lost it on my last outing. Just drop me a pm with price etc. Cheers Steve

Any body got a max 4 super black eagle 2 for sale with a 28 inch barrel? I know it's a tall order but really want one of these fellas. Don't have to much to spend upto £750

Shot today over rape stubble, really poor only 2 birds to show for 3 hours! Been shooting the same fields regulary for around 2 weeks now and have been potting on average 25 birds each outing today they must have moved to pastures new as there were very few birds on the wing and even fewer in the fields. Will be out at the weekend on another farm I shoot over which is looking a little more promising.

I am after one can pick it up thursday/friday evening
