  1. Remove open sights/scope, remove stock. The trigger mech has 3 circlips, remove the rear circlip and pin that it holds in place, the trigger assy can now be removed making sure you do not loose the springs etc (one long one short). You can then put the action into a spring compressor and knock out the retaining pin that holds the spring and guide in place. How much further do you want to strip? if all you want to do is replace the mainspring then that is that.

  2. I seem to have a bit of a problem with my puter, (it has been like it for ages to be honest) basically i cant use smilies on here or any other site, i cant use some bits of ebay and guntrader etc. I have tried uninstaling and reinstalling aol and still have the same problem. Any ideas??? i get an error message when i sign on which reads " AN ERROR HAS OCCOURED CREATING THE AOL COMPANION SCRIPT ENGINE (80084005)"

  3. I am selling my escort semi auto 3 shot 28" shotgun, it is exactly 2 days old and has fired exactly 19 cartridges, it has a realtree shadow grass finish (will post pics tomorrow) it is exactly as new. I'm not one for spur of the moment buys but this is one of them and i have to face facts that i aint going to get on with it (or any other semi auto!!) so if you want one you can have this one for £260 inc p&p to an rfd of your choice or £240 collected

  4. You wont go far wrong, is it complete? ie, case, spares kit, stock key. check the stock carefully for cracks as the detachable trigger mech means that the stock is a little thin at the head, if you want a pic to show where to pay particular attention let me know and i'll take a snap (excuse the pun) of a spare stock that i have.

  6. A tip when using plastic skirted pellets is clean the barrel really well before you use them, the reasion you are getting plastic fouling is because there are traces of lead in the barrel which will act as an abrasive on the soft plastic skirts, this heavy fouling will affect the accuracy badly

  7. If you want to strip and rebuild it the venom kit is exellent and comes with a fitted spring guide and top hat a modified piston head and spring sleave. If you want the cheaper option get a quaility mainspring and new piston head (makesure you get the correct one as Weihrauch changed the bore diameter a couple of years back and an old style head is now a slightly slack fit in a newer gun and vice versa, this was 2001ish i think) then strip clean and relube correctly, reassemble and re chrono
