  1. I only want a semi for the foreshore, for geese therefore 3.5" chamber, as my O/U will do everything else. I have been looking for a Xtrema 2 which is tried and tested, and proven, but is quite heavy, therefore the attraction to the A400. Why is the A400, already selling for less than the Xtrema 2?

<_< Iv'e had a A400 xplor kick-off for some months now and i have found that the gun performs as it says on the box, shooting clays last saturday and a shooter asked to have a go of it,as he has just bought a new browning semi that fire's all the loads as the A400 and he decided after he had shot mine that he had bought the wrong gun and was amazed at the difference between the recoil of both guns.he like myself have had problems with recoil after having surgery to our necks and i am pleased that i bought mine.will try it again on sat along with my Benelli to see what the difference is between them. .---- <_<

  3. Hi

The price of new European guns shot up last year due to the weak pound. Recently the pound has got 22% stronger, but do I see the prices of guns tumbling, same old story we are being ripped.

  4. Hi

I was really excited waiting for the A400 to come out, and as soon as it did I was waiting to read reviews on it. After doing a little more research and speaking to a few people that had shot it, the common statement was that they wouldn't be happy shooting the bigger loads through it as they would shake the gun too pieces, which was the exact reason for me purchasing one, as it is so much lighter than the Xtrema. Since then I have been waiting for the well tried and tested xtrema to come at the right price. So what I want to know, can this semi handle the 3.5" loads or Not, please put me out of my missery.

i like narrow rib but i like synthetic rather than wood
  5. I have seen just recently a brand new silver pigeon on here for 1500, and a nearly new one for 1100. I have one for an all rounder.

How much would you want for your semi? I do want a semi for a kick around, the Silver pigeon not really suited to the salt water and mud.

  6. Churchills in Dereham, if you Google them their website will come up and you can have a look without travelling anywhere

    Chaps,

Can anyone suggest a shop in the Norfolk area that carrys a good selection of new centrefires on the shelf?

Looking for a 243 whilst i'm up here, something like a T3, Steyr, RWS Titan

    Thanks.

  7. why have the price of guns soared so much. I paid £550 for mine s/h from swillington 2 years ago ?

The prices soared so much because of the exchange rates, pound to Euro, the pound is now getting stronger so the prices are coming down which is good for the buyer, but not so good for the seller.

  8. Hi

Just joined today, trying to get my head around the site.

I am fairly new to shooting, and am based in the Suffolk area, trying to generate or break in to the circuits and build up some good friends and contacts, within the shooting community. I have just joined a wildfowling club, so looking forward to going blue in the face and have some interesting wildfowl in the oncoming season.

If anybody needs any pest control, I would love to volunteer, within a sensible distance.

    Ta Ta for now
