  1. hope you have a few quid just a couple of traps and you will about 20/25 shots

for silly money as blaser f3 say,s its just an activity place (paint balling -quad biking 4 x4 )

i ve done a bit of tuition for them why don,t you try burneside gun club or lindale or even lupton

all within 15 minute drive :good:

  2. hope they sort it out

back 2001 never shot from febuary until december :)

as we in the thick of the epedemic up here in cumbria

the estate my dad keeper for started disinfecting as from yesterday

  3. henry get a bucket and half fill with soil then add water and mix until

you get a muddy soup mixture. then apply to your blind by using a sponge

or cloth and then leave to dry , once its dry brush off any excess mud

and you are left with a blind that blends into your surrounding add a little local vegatation ." this blind original colour was field khaki like yours"

and at a distance you will not see it as below :good:

  4. Had a daft brainwave of an idea for decoying a load of rooks/jackies attacking the farmer's oats.

Off out this afternoon to shoot some blackies with Will's silly socks painted black/blue and some modified tent poles with mounting plugs to sit the socks on.

    Who Knows?????

edit--" painted black/blue " -didn't half put up a fight.

cannot see why it won,t work .mix them in with some full bodies

and you will get all the movement you need and the detail of the full bodies :good:

  5. well done mate that blind seems awkward to shoot out of whynot use a conventional blind against a hedgerow?

because when ive a field with 2- 3000 geese all feeding in the middle

of a 100 acre field why try decoy them to the edges when i can decoy them

into the middle of a field where they want to be .

as for awkward no its very comfyand easy to shoot from

  6. For not too much more money you could buy a proper layout blind such as the Avery powerhunter.

Much better option with a lower profile. I have used mine on crows a few times recently with great results.

that looks nothing like a lay out blind currie boy

  7. shot these this morning 8.30 til 11.30 running low on cartridges so i rang my 14 year old son

up to bring some more and i could not get my gun back off him

154 birds picked in picture with 192 on the clicker the rest in a silage field

no point tramperling grass down so left more fox food :good:

  8. where did you get the crow decoys?

a mixture of shells and full bodys "flocked" from d*******.CO.UK and some AVERY ffb from america

all on universal motion stakes if you think spring stick makes a decoy

come to life you want to try these ??? as for the blind "trent valley sporting"
