  1. Hi guys, thanks to all for your comments. It´s a pleasure for me to talk with other hunters all over the world and to learn other types of hunting skills. Docholiday, how are you? yo don´t come to the dakkar? Cordoba is next to La Pampa. Obviously you're invited to my farm to make some noise, hehehe. I want to invite all of you to hunt here in Argentina, it´s a very good country for hunting and fishing. I love hunting and what better to make it with friends, a good meal and wine. Thanks again to all. See ya. Gonzalo
  2. Congratulations Mike! These days I saw one fox in the northest zone of the farm, but I always see him at night and he is very stealthy. I will try get him next week. Some advise to give me? Here we have the same fox but now it´s summer. See ya. Gonzalo
  3. Hi guys, how are you today? Take a look to some dogs from my friend who train some of my dogs. There are some pointers and setters on it. Which is your best dog for pheasants? Take a look to the other two videos that he has, one is for other day training dogs and the other of some good fishing that they made in Rio de la Plata. See ya. Gonzalo
  4. Hi Tom, How are you? Here I found a video of the type of shoot that I told you. About the height, I think that more than 40 meters. But what I love in the forest is when the doves comes with strong winds, that is a very difficult shot! We only have a group that always tell us to hunt in that part of the farm. http://www.metacafe.com/watch/5651095/10_8_09/ I will try to upload a video of one time when we were training our dogs. Which is the best dog there for Partridges? Here we use Pointer, setter, Braco. That are the best dog for me. See ya! Gonzalo
  5. Hi tom, how are you? This time we made over the sunflowers. The shoot that I prefer is in the middle of two forest where the doves fly high and it's a very difficult shot. Here in La Pampa there aren't so many valleys, so we make other type of wingshoot. See ya. Gonzalo
  6. Well my friend, I only want to show to other members the great week that I have. I don't have time to make a video with presentation and other without the logo and the info. The video that I put here is the one that I sent to an American channel that want some info from the Lodge. If you have something personal with me, it's ok, each one can give their opinion. Like I told you before, I'm here to make friends, if some of them are interested in making some hunting trip I will try my best to make it happen. I recently talked with Dave. He told me that he want to come to Argentina to make some wingshooting and I told him that the money is not the important thing here, the important is to make his birthday like he wants, shooting some doves. I also want to invite you to shoot some doves, maybe some day you will accept my invitation. See ya. Gonzalo
  7. Hey Sitsinhedges, how are you?? Yeah! there are a lot of doves now day, we have sow 400 hectare of sunflower. Doves love sunflower. I only hunt witm my xusta 12 caliber. The ones that appear in the video are my american friends. They shot with 7 of 32 and 36 grains. About the choke, sorry, I didn't ask them. They always bring their own shotguns. See ya. Gonzalo
  8. Hi guys! How are you this week? Here I put the video of the hunt that we made last week with some american friends. If you like I can also put the pheasent hunt. http://www.metacafe.com/watch/5646290/el_olivo_hunting_lodge/ See ya! Gonzalo
  9. Hi guys! How are you today? I recently come from the farm. We have a very good week with our American friends. I will try to make a post with some pictures. About the decoys, I will try to see where I can get some of them, maybe it will be a differente type of shoot. We hunt more than 10500 doves this week and 100 pheasents. It was a very good hunting trip. See ya. Gonzalo
  10. Fortunately, we have a fantastic season. averaged to 1000 shots a day. attached an image more closely to the pigeons. Greetings!
  11. Thanks you very much sitsinhedges for your comment. I make some shots with the Beretta 391 caliber 20. Is a very good one. About the decoys, are them electronic or what? how does it work to make the movement? I know that here is not neccesary, but i think is a good way to get them more closely. Some of the hunters love that and is a good way for the ones that don't aim so good at the beggining. Thanks for your time and I will try to get some pictures this week with my american friends. Have a nice week people! See you. Gonzalo
  12. Hey guys, how are you? I think always we can improve our shot and different types of hunting. For example here we don't use decoys and is something that I will try to see how it works here. I don't want to bother anyone, I only want to learn from others. I will not reply for some things that doesn't have sence. Thanks for all the good comments. Gonzalo
  13. Hi guys, how are you? I saw a lot of videos and pictures of the forum and want to ask to you which is the shotgun that you think is the best for dove hunting? How many shots? Which caliber? The one I love is my caliber 12 xusta. My grandfather gave it to me so is an important treasure for me. Other question, which are the decoys that work ok there? Thanks to all!!! Gonzalo.
  14. Hi guys, thannks for your comments. I will try this week to take some more pics so I can show you how is Argentina. Today I take some pics of a part of the farm where are good qty of doves. Tomorrow come some american friends and I have to have all ready for them. See you.
