I got down the marsh for sunrise this morning, lovely morning marsh covered in mist and pink sky over the river.
Plenty of duck and teal flighting about but no luck for the first hour. I saw 3 Canadas go over about 100 yards to my right flying low and was gutted!
About 20 minutes later I hared that unmistakeable sound in the distance and could see half a dozen greys heading my way, they were a good 50 – 60 yards up but as they got close I manage to drop one with 3†steel carts.
That's Christmas dinner sorted then!

You know instead of lazing around on the couch drinking beer while that good Lady of yours slaved away in the kitchen, you could have been out on the pier catching some prawns, or down on the beach setting the lobster pot or maybe catching a couple of codling.

It's all in hand Dan, the Lobster pots are baited and soaking, the Cod are not due for another couple of weeks and there is a few months until the prawns arrive.
Now back to my Discovery...

Roast Pheasant
Method:
Insert 2x cartridges into gun of choice
Take a leisurely stroll around your favourite mash
Shoot 2x cartridges at 2x pheasant
Arrive home and hand pheasant to the Mrs
Crack open a bottle of your favourite beer
Sit back and watch Discovery for approximately 2 hours
Await call and enjoy
