    good day with the hmr on saturday set decoys out around 70y with a few eggs got my self 11 crows 3 woodys out of the hedge row came 3 squirrels got them and my best shot so far with the hmr 2 rabbits at 200y 230y confirmed with range finder and shot sweet as a nut just behind ear :goo :unsure: :angry: d:

    I have just been trying a spot of crow shooting as I am new to shotguns. I put a crow decoy on a nearby post away from 2 others which I put near a split open rabbit! Corvids love to see a bit of blood! :thumbs: On my first outing I shot 8 crows in a couple of hours. Thats good for a newbie I think. The system worked well and they were flying in from their flightline. I have hidden the bodies ready for tomorrow as I add them to the pattern which definately draws more in!

    me and ray have shot over 300 crows this year we have found the best way for us is 1 decoy on the best flight line good camo as you shoot them put in your patten only put 3 or 4 in as it seem's to spook them good look

    Well, now you know only to go for head shots if you want to eat it

    loads of meat left on the rabbit mate

     

    True, but if you head shoot one all you have to do is to lop off the head during the dressing process and then to 'quarter' what's left.

     

    If you body shoot one then you have to cut off all of the damaged bits and it takes a damn sight longer

    Not bad that for 150. ;)

     

    is it the new one with the accu trigger, look smart ;)

     

    tried at 200 today on a pop bottle (plastic) took some finding the holdover but ok once you know were it is.

    i live not to far from euroguns don't rate them at all bad after sales and prices are poor 17hmr are 12.50 for fifty clear pigeon 36 for 250 just round the corner at john carr 31 for 250 and for the 17 hmr 17.50 for 100

    i bought a musto jacket from them had it 5 week and the zip broke took it back and asked them to sort it out the reply i got wot do you wont us to do about it £200 the jacket cost me i will never buy again from this shop i would rather travel 50 mile out of my way than give him money

    Do you mind if I ask you where you purchased them from. (Whitch gun shop). Would I be right in thinking that the first pic is the .22 cz ? :stupid:
