LOL yeh a new SAK is probably the cheapest option. I like the look of the "DM80 mk3" and the "Third Eye RF" however a lot of people seem to rate the "17 Whisper" I was just thinking of going for a .17 specific, but yeh mabe a new SAK would be the easiest option, cheapest as well.

I ant too bothered about cost, have you got any links for these other (other than SAK that is) sound mods, sorry I haven't been keeping up with things the last 18 months or so I just been out shooting LOL, I could do with some wet nursing please.

NightForce NXS 5.5 - 22 x 56 reticle NPR2 Having a bit of a clear out and I decided to sell this as I feel it’s too much scope to site on top of my little used .17 HMR. I bought it brand new about 2 years ago from a UK distributor and have the receipt to prove. I am selling it as it would come new i.e. with the original box, manuals, sun shield, N/F lens covers, packing etc. It will also come with a copy of the NightForce ballistic programme. It sat on top of my .243 for about 200 rounds since then it’s been on my .17 HMR for about another 200 rounds and that’s it. It’s in very good almost as new condition, the glass is perfect and the scope all works and shoots as a new one would. There are two very faint ring marks which have just marked the paint finish and not the metal, but these are very faint I am just being honest. I believe a new one now costs £1,430 (that’s the Sportsman’s price anyway) I am selling this one for £1,000 posted.

As todays temp its around 18c if I develope a load now it will be safe to shoot in the winter then but I just wonder how much the fps will drop on say a cold January night at say 2c, time will tell.

On the Hodgdon webstite is says that Varget and H4350 both of which are their Extreme rifle powders are insensitivity to hot/cold temperatures. The H414 is a sperical rifle poweder but it dosn't say anything about its temperature sensitivity. Can anyone tell me is H414 very suspectible to temperature change? If so would I be right in thinking that a load thats shoots well in our current temperature would shoot entirely differently in the cold of winter? Anyone got first hand experience with this powder, please. (its for my .243 AI)
