  4. Hi folks Do any of you own or have you used a Ceasar Gurini clay gun? Let me know your views on them please, good or bad, I'm after a new gun and they are within my price range, quite like the feel and balance of the summit impact model, handled one at the midland game fair but unfortunately couldn't try it. Lookin forward to reading your posts folks! Cheers PP

  8. Hi guys Can anyone tell me of any PCP air rifles that have left handed actions? All the ones I've looked at only have left handed stocks but the bolt/cocking lever is still right handed and the magazine fed PCP's all seem to require the magazine to be inserted from the right hand side. Many thanks guys and looking forward to your posts Ian
  9. Thanks mate, do you live fairly local too then? What's the web address please mate? Regards Ian
  10. Hi guys Are there any of you members of the NPPC (national pigeon and pest control club) and live in Staffordshire? Was thinking of joining but just wanted to know if any of there shooting is any good in staffs, know they have some in Lichfield but not sure where else they have and if it's any good or not? Cheers Ian
  11. Hi guys Give me your opinion on floaters please chaps, wether you rate them or not, if so which you prefer, artificial or dead birds? If artificial which make or home made? Has anybody got any of Chris greens floaters? They look very effective but they have a massive rod which looks like it would be a nightmare to transport about. Lookin forward to your replies guy :-) Cheers Ian
  12. Indoor zero's are always best but not everybody has this facility. Draw a big cross on your card/paper, position it at about 20yds first, makin sure the vertical line of the cross is 100% vertical, shoot a group at it, ignore the horizontal position of the group, this part of the exercise is just to get the vertical part of your zero 100% correct (before wind has chance to affect it) before moving to your longer zero range, once it is spot on move to your usual longer zero range and shoot at the horizontal line, ignore the vertical position of the shots, you know that part is spot on already, just concentrate on hitting the horizontal line, if your shots are going to either side you know it's the wind and not your vertical zero. I used this method for years when I was shooting FT and won countless comps, England team, grand prix etc, so it's a proven method mate, give it a try!
  13. Some great advice there lads thanks very much, will go down my local club when I can and try a few too. Many thanks Ian
  14. Thanks for the advice guys. Without sounding stupid what's a sak mod? lol
  15. Hi There is no price range, I've shot field target for years so I've spent hundreds on guns and scopes and realise the value of spending more and know you've got the best there is rather than buying cheaper and settling for second best, I know not everyone can afford to do this but it's just how I see it, sorry if that sounds big headed, it's definately not meant to be, just want the best kit there is, be it £2000 or £200. Bit like cars really, they all get you from A to B but some are just more reliable and nicer to use.
