  1. west somerset, but i am willing to travel, and any airborne stuff will be on an opportunity basis, let me know where you are and what you would like doing.
  2. I have always heard people saying how much woodys like Rape, well there are plenty of rape fields round here, however the fields are often quite large and at the minute about 3 foot tall so were on earth do you start. How do you know if pigeons are on them? How do you lay out your decoys in sight, with the stuff being so tall and dense?
  3. I recently got permission on some Bean fields, which I noticed had a couple of pigeons in it at the time ( a couple is good round here!!) I have been up briefly one afternoon but the weather was not too special and my pattern sparked of very little interest. The fields are next to a 400 acre wood so there are some pigeons about. Sorry to go on, I also found a couple of hides littered with a lot of cartridges which looked a few months old. The beans are about 6 inches tall.
  4. If any one can supply me with a good day of pigeon shooting,or even a sniff of it, I will in return provide them with any aerial photo's or any other aerial work for that matter free of charge. Mike
  5. Can anyone help me, I am origionly from Lincolnshire where there seems to be an abundance of pigeons, I now live in Somerset where they are incredibly scarce, I spent all day yesterday driving around somerset without finding them feeding on asingle field, today (as I am fotunate enough to be in a job enabling me to do this) undetered I took to the air and spent over 2 hours flying around somerset looking for flocks of pigeons and again nothing, anyone got any Ideas.
