Just wanted to let you all know that we are open on Both Boxing Day and New years Day for you to get out and have a day out clay shooting. Our Boxing Day Shoot is a 75 Bird Shoot and have a High Gun Prize of £75 and other prizes in each of the classes. Our New Years Day shoot will be a 50 Bird and is always a popular shoot with shooters wanting to get out and about. I have just had a look to see how far from Staffordshire and its around 35 miles which isn't to far to try another clay shooting venue.

I would love to but we don't have a post code or a sat nav location . Neither of them seem to be close enough to get you there. I suggest people use the Manystones Lane, Matlock. in there satnav's this usually gets them there and we do have a sign outside. Also we do have a google map on the website that will give shooters the location. Thanks for the festive wishes.

I have for sale a Laporte PC6C 350 Clay Pigeon Trap. Its been in regular use at our shooting ground. We are replacing some of the older traps so this is why this trap is being sold.

The Darley Dale Clay Pigeon Shooting Club is open on New Year's Day. Although this may be to far for you to travel. I've just looked on Google maps and from Manchester City centre it's 47miles but this maybe a little less if your South if the city. Anyway the details are at

Worth travelling a nice shoot. It's felt wad only but cartridges are available there. Hope this is of some help.

Yes your more than welcome to come and shoot with us. Just make sure you have your certificate with you on the day. There is always plenty of shooter that would be willing to let you go around with them. Just turn up and let the lads in the office know that you have come Alone or better still have a friend or partner come with you. Anyway hope to see you at the shoots over the Christmas holidays.

Shooting starts at 10.00am and our last entry will be at 12.30. Don't worry if you have no cartridges, we keep them in stock. The shoot is located just outside the small village of Brassington over looking Carsington Water. There are 11 stands with abilities to shoot above and below the shooter so why don't you come along and have a great days shooting with us. We have onsite catering for those looking for a bite to eat and a hot cuppa.
We will give away a Free Prize-draw ticket with every shoot entry.
Prizes range from a Free 50 Bird Shoot to a Bottle of Wine,

We have run a pool for some time now. We use three traps either standards or midi and shooters have 6 pairs of clays to shoot in the following configuration (See Attached PDF)
The only problem we have running a pool shoot is that its always the same AA shooters winning the pot, which some shooters find unfair and oftern dont want to take part .
We are currently looking at other way to make it fair for all classes. Lately we are only getting about 14 shooters having a go which isnt ideal.
