    I thought that I would drop in and tell you about the forthcoming Charity Clay Shoot on the 9th September 2012 to be held at the

    Darley Dale Clay Pigeon Shooting Club, Bees Nest Mine, Manystones Lane, Brassington, Derbyshire. We have held this

    Charity shoot for the past 4 years. We have all the usual stands to entice you, we always have markers for each stand and the

    High Gun prize this year stands at £150 plus other prizes for each of the classes A,B,C, Ladies and Juniors. If you would like either

  2. One more day, Sunday 18th September is the date of our annual Charity Shoot. This years event is to help raise money for the Derbyshire, Leicestershire & Rutland Air Ambulance.

    We will have the usual stands including the Pool Shoot with a difference, anyone who hits a clay that explodes will have the chance to win a FREE SHOOT or some other prize sponsored by

    Firebird Reactive Targets Ltd. We have full onsite catering and also a huge tombola stand with prizes from a bottle of wine to a Microlight flight sponsored by Ram Air Microlights.

     

     

    High Gun prize £120 Plus other prizes for the each section sponsored by J. F. Neville Guns - Derbyshire's Supplier Of Guns, Ammunition & Country Clothing.

     

    Shoot Starts at 10.00am and the last entry will be at 2.00pm

     

    £17.00 per entry

  3. I know I keep going on about our Charity Clay Shoot this weekend , but I really want this years event to be successful. We are raising money to help support the Derbyshire , Leicestershire & Rutland Air Ambulance.

    We are now only a few days before our Charity Clay Shoot with a High Gun prize of £120 plus other Prizes for the Classes A,B,C, Ladies, Junior.

     

    Prizes have been sponsored by Nevilles Guns and the trophies have been sponsored by the G.O.R.M Society. All are welcome and shoot starts at 10.00am and last entry is 2.00pm we will have other stalls full onsite catering and a pool with a difference paying out 40% of each page we fill and also a chance to win an extra prize if you manage to explode the clay, Sponsored by Firebird Explosive Targets Ltd.

  5. Hi All

     

     

    I thought that I should let you all know that its getting very close to this years Charity Clay Shoot in aid of the Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Rutland Air Ambulance.

    The shoot will take place 18th September 2011. We will have all the usual stands and of course we will have catering on site so that you wont have to take your own food along.

    We will be having a pool shoot with a difference, any of the clay that explode will you'll have a chance to win an extra prize as well as entering into the normal pool shoot.

     

    We always have a very large Tombola stand with prizes like 30min Flight in a Microlight sponsored by Ram Air Microlights also a days fly fishing, tickets are £1 each or 6 for a fiver

     

    This years Charity Shoot will cost £17 per entry and the High Gun Prize is £120 so well worth entering. There are 5 sections to enter Class A, B, C, Ladies and of course juniors (under 16)

    each of these sections will have trophies and cartridges for the winners. If you would like further information about this years Charity Shoot, then please either contact me or have a look

  6. Come on Kevin, get some of your shooters signed up on Pigeon Watch, we need some more northerners to make sure we thrash the southern softies again at the north ve south bash in Bedfordshire on the 7th of May. From Auntie.

    I run quite a good website and have quite a good amount of users. So from time to time I'll put an advert on about the forum and see if this will drum up some more people to come and join in. Ive tried to run a forum before with very few people using it so I dont hold mu7ch hope that they will join in Pigeon watch but its worth a try I suppose.

  7. Thats brilliant, I really have no idea where we can shoot pigeons, but I suppose the best places would be somewhere where they have crops especially. But really any farmer may be able to help.

The Club is open throughout the year offering English Sporting 50 Bird clay shoots. We have all the usual birds, Teals, Rabbits, Overheads, Left to Right Crossers etc. etc. We offer prize money for the winners of each class, A, B, C.

     

    We hold annual charity clay shoots to raise money for local charities and high gun prize is usually £100 plus many other prizes for each section. We have onsite catering offering hot food and drink which welcome on those very cold and wet days.

     

    Also we have the usual Pool Stand which offers 3 traps with 12 birds prizemoney also offered.
