Hello again Just recieved a Rimfire Magic trigger kit for my CZ Style 452 .22lr .... does anyone know what is the best combination of spring / tube to use on the 452 ? And also when you replace the pins do they need to be superglued / splayed again ? Cheers Drewrix

Hi All I am having trouble with my .22lr plastic clip , every third or so shot it feeds the round far too high so that it doesnt load into the chamber and requires a bit of fiddling by hand to load the round .... I tried 2 of my mates metal clips today in my gun and they were fine , so wondered where I can buy a new clip and how much they are ? (Rifle is a CZ Style 452) Cheers Drewrix

Cheers for all the above .... I had a look in my local gun shop today and they have a CZ 452 American in there for just short of £400 however its the 20" barrel .... any thoughts as to preferred barrel length .... I mainly walk & lamp but shoot from the 4x4 every now and again. Also they recommended a Wildcat Growler moderator (£125) ... anyone had any experience with these good/bad ?? Cheers for the link Axe

Cheers Hawkeye .... is there any particular Anshutz model or do they only do 1 .... also what barrel length would you recommend ? .... is the shorter the better the accepted rule of thumb and do they come screw cut ready to take the moderator ? (I mainly hunt on foot but sometimes in the landy) How much will I expect to pay for this set up .... what sort of range can you safely take a rabbit ? Also I know there is always debate but can the .17HMR take a fox and if so at what maximum range is it safe to do so ? Drewrix

Hello again I now have my FAC though and am looking to buy a .17HMR .... does anyone have any experience with any make/model of this rifle and any particular sound moderators , scopes and rounds as I am not sure what to buy. Many thanks Drewrix

Thanks Dazzy I have a few pieces of land for rabbiting .... one of which is a 300 acre farm and I also have a golf course which is about 100 acres ... would I have any problems getting an FAC ticket for a .22 rim fire or .17HMR with this type of land ?

Hello New to this forum as an established pigeon shooter however I have just started rabbiting and I am finding that my Air Arms S400 doesnt have the range and I am struggling to get close enough to take a safe shot. I am now looking into getting a FAC ticket and buying something like a .22 rimfire or someone has even mentioned the .17HMR ?? ...
