Its a shame that being up north limits the pigeon availability.

Ok. So after going out with joe (the pigeon man) off here to do a bit of crow bashing the other week ended with me falling off a 5 bar gate and busting my ankle. It hurt like a so and so when I did it but thought it was a nasty sprain. But after getting it checked a week later I have well and truly busted it. So I am facing the next 6 to 8 weeks in a cast from the knee to my toes. I hate resting up and am already bored with the tv. Any suggestions for me guys.

Steve, i had the same issue when i first went hide shooting, too many times did i get over excited, like the advice previous take a deep breath, and relax, we all shoot better that way. great shooting and hope that your bags increas

Fantastic, cant wait to get my Daughter shooting, she loves comming to clays, she has tried the .410 but its still a little heavy for her, but shes enthusiatic and thats always a good sign, well done to your son, fantastic shooting.

In my time on the farm i had to dispatch may things, Cows, sheep that had been malled by dogs and even a horse, ( the horse had unseated its rider, tried to full gallop down a steep incline tarmac road and met a volvo head on, and broke its fron legs and punctured a lung)
the usless vet that attended had no dispatch equipment (gun or other wise) and was trying to give the downed horse a leathal dose of something. it was sad thing to do but used the 410 with a fourlong no 5.

I get fitted with my fibre glass cast on friday. So am going to try and make it to the charity clay shoot near me. Might take the gun and have a blat.
