It's not fat it's muscle but a little relaxed, or so I say. I bought the overtrousers after I lost nearly 3 stone when I was ill (as seen in the picture doing a feature for Match Fishing) but I am now back to my lager swilling weight, that's why I sold them. I got some right stick when I was thin, so I FORCED gallons of lager and pork scratchings down my kneck. Hmmm feel better but a bit more sluggish, especially when out rough shooting.

There's some strange people out there, is it the gun smoke that causes it? if so I will start wearing a mask. I may have some bigger gear for sale soon, got some coming of my squaddie mate.

Hi I have a pair of DPM MVP cammo over trousers (British Army Issue) for sale they are about 31-34 waist, size (180 88 on tag) with velcro fastening fly and waist, zip up bottoms with velcro straps, they are in as new condition, I have worn them about 4 times from new but unfortunately they are now just that little bit too tight around the waist. They are totally waterproof, well tested in the field in a torrential dounpour. I am after £15 + p&p. or free collection from Sheffield.

It sounds ok to me, think I will give it a bash, my main concern was that I didn't want to be driving 60-70 miles every time I wanted to go. I live in Sheffield and have a couple of shoots but mainly rabbit and just love pigeon shooting, I know it's difficult to predict birds unlike rabbits but didn't want to join if there wasn't many birds to go at.

Hi all, I'm thinking of joining NPPC and wanted some feedback from members. I just wondered if there was plenty of land (and quarry) to go at. Also do you think it's worth the cost, does the land get hammered etc etc. Cheers

Hi guy's I'm looking for a reasonably priced 5+ cabinet, I recently got my FAC and have purchased a .22 rimmy and .22 FAC air rifle (78ftlb), both have scopes and with my shotty's I'm struggling for room. Anyone got one for sale? I have a 3 gun cabinet (as new condition) which holds 4 at a push, this will be for sale or P/X either way. Cheers

Well if you put it like that, I suppose we all get taxed somehow, but we pay the pegging fee which is payment for fishing then pools on top which is like taking a gamble on how good or lucky you are, I must have been lucky!!!! and as for the lake owner, I wish I was one I'll tell you, the tax man has nothing to come. I'm off in the morning to try my luck again, sooner be shooting lately though. Oh bye the way I have to declare my winnings too which is a pain.

I am a semi-pro fisherman, I fish matches on average throughout the year 4 days a week. I pay up to £50 per match of which up to £10 is pegging fees (money to fishery owner), fishing is the most popular participation sport in the UK so you can work out how many fishermen pay for their sport. Having said that shooting has been generally free apart from the shooting syndicates etc, but if paying for your sport gives you pleasure then why not. I'm not so sure all will agree, but the facts of life are, sometimes you have to pay for what you get. Ps still looking for some "FREE" shooting in South Yorks.

Hi guy's I'm looking for a bit of pest control around south yorks, willing to shoot either 12g air rifle or .22 rimmy, bunnies, pidgeon, rats, corvids or whatever. I live in Sheffield not worried about traveling, I'm semi pro fisherman with a fishing bait company (Miracle Baits) but feel the need to shoot more than fish lately. Any generous guy's need a buddy or any farmers need help with pests let me know. I know this is a bit more than a long shot but worth the effort. Regards Steve G
