Where to Shoot in the NW? I am relatively new to shooting, and have been using the Atherton Indoor Range - until it closed last month. Pity a really nice set up, friendly, and with great potential. So does anybody know of any alternatives around the Liverpool / Manchester / Preston area?

I was until yesterday asking myself the same question. There are a lot of nice guns. I went to lots of shops and tried as many rifles as possible to see how they felt. I ended Up with an Air Arms TX200 HC. Lots of various opinions on the web. You perhaps need to find what guns are good to hold for your body, then think about the technical specs of the options?

Hi, by way of introduction, I am new to the forum, and new to the sport. So doing lots of reading, books, web, etc. I thought I would learn more starting with a springer, and maybe move to PCP later. So I am looking for a 0.177 side or under lever rifle, and a club to shoot at – I do not have a suitable land. I fancy a bit of air pistol shooting as well. I am intending to learn to shoot first, then if my shooting is good enough move on to hunting. Any advice, hints, or tips welcome. Regards, Dave
