  1. Yes I enjoyed it too, partially because I just admire the winners in sport, not little cranky Lewis brought up by uncle Ron who wear stuuupid hats that wouldn't fair well in a wind tunnel test. Note also Kimmi wears a sensible hat too!

fister, the spoilt little **** hat go's well with the stupid over sized chain round his neck.

  2. Well done for been about a 1% statistic...

Most seem to ring the necks at a drop of a hat.

i dont think your right on that one. if the bird was badly injured & the best thing to do was to put it out of its misery, then yes the owner would put it down. but being its a young bird that has probly just been let out & has gone astray, the owner will most probly be glad to have it back

  3. After some advice.

Just had a young racing pigeon fly into our balcony and become trapped between the door and the rails.

Its tagged and i have reported it, but what do i do now, as the site says they will contact me within 48hrs.

It appears to be OK, with a possible wing injury but handles with no apparent discomfort, it is tame and a very nice looking bird.

What do i feed it and can i keep it in a box, and can a bowl of water be put in?

I dont really want to try and launch it as i dont want it to crash land or attempt to fly and come down out of reach... and no im not making it into a pie!!

hi ph , your doing the right things deep dish of water & some seed ( any wild bird seed will do )keep it in a box somewhere quiet. if you have reported it to the rpra, you could ring them again & ask for the phone number of the owner , so you can get it back to them asap. dont worry about what someone has said on here about the owner ringing its neck. i keep racers myself & would want the bird back if it was mine. if you need any help to do with this matter please pm me. thanks for doing the right thing !!! boxlock

  4. I'll be there on Sunday.

Fat bloke moaning about prices with a couple of poorly trained dogs (one white, one brown), bored looking, poorly trained kids (all white) and a humpy missus (various shades).

Wouldn't miss it for the world!!

will you be wearing anything unusual that will make you stand out from the rest of the crowd :lol::lol:

  5. I got the letter a few months back and got offered the choice of points, court or course. Having a few motors and not wanting the insurance to shift up a notch on all of them I opted for the course (which equated to £80 + the loss of a days wedge). Being the first time in years that I've had a clean licence I thought it prudent to take the fuzz and the council up on the offer.

I went there expecting the usual pap that I have to sit through on work courses and to get preached at by pious tossers. I was also expecting to be nodding off after a few hours of tedium.

It was nothing like that. The guys that were running it did not judge or give it the holier than thou act and managed to involve everybody in the room. The way the day was put together was spot on and I honestly believe my attitude has changed. How long it will last for is another matter but I like to think I'll tow the line from here on.

Kent county council in this instance and this one alone I salute you.

Anybody else done the naughty boy course?

What did you make of it?
